A Canadian car. I think they sold them in Brazil as well. They're supposedly their own marque but sold at Pontiac dealers, and are a mix of Chevelle Platform, with Lemans and GTO parts, mostly in the interior - dash, seats, etc. The top of the line was the SD, "Sport Deluxe", that came with a 396. Very rare now. This beauty is likely a "Custom". Pretty rare now too.
Oh, we had Chevelles but you couldn't get the SS 396 up here until later, 69 or 70, for some reason, so they had the SD, although they did sell the Malibu SS. I had one. The SS option was considered a trim package but you could outfit it with any motor you wanted. Mine had a 327. It went like snot. lol Sure wish I still had it. Rare as hell too.
That's one sweet looking Beaumont.
Is this another's countries version of the 68 Chevelle?🤔
