Update on my campmaster knife. My order came in and whoa.. impressive. You're right on how much bigger a blade it really is to my height at 5'7. Grooved handle is fabulous, fits perfect as well, although it is beefy in weight and width size, it's the dream knife come true. The guys in Nepal are awesome with reaching out and great customer service. Love my knife and I'm gonna order more from them. Thank you and keep up the vids.

I practiced doing things lefty as a natural righty After breaking hands and wrists I realized that is a reality that could happen in survival so I try to get proficient both handed ambidextrous

In process for making my first purchase with KHHI, had my focus on a kukri blade called the forestman pro "yeti" did more research on fixed blades from KHHI and your video along with their site made it easier decision on what blade first. I'm strongly convinced this should be my first knife from Nepal. I live in Colorado on the west state side, mountains and water everywhere.. I'm an avid outdoorsy guy.. love drop points for everything I do under the sun. What makes my decision easier also is its size.. rather have a beefy knife worn by horizontal sheath for usage in public and outdoors.. rather than an intimidating 10.5" kukri to carry behind me. This blade is beautiful and you've shown its possibilities correctly even with an injury. I'm seeing the Yeti as a camp knife to set up and use out there.. but this one can be safe to be seen publicly. Thanks to your video.. I've contacted KHHI to make changes, I'm hoping they won't get upset with my quick decision. They have excellent customer service and quick responses. And probably the shopping list will remain open .... If I will have to "travel light" in the woods - would be good enough for defense (against large animals ) ? I guess this should be good enough - beefy, burly , wide blade - yeah, is a bit on the short side - but still should make a bear to step back if used with determination ... Now, don't imagine that I'll run through the woods chasing for bears - the thing is, that in our country ( due to crappy government ) it happens that you might face unwanted encounters ... So, I'm talking just from protecting my family pov ...

The beef in the center got the inspiration from the 4-Max. Being 4", the 4M doesn't need it for weight, it just looks cool. This being 6" needed it for weight. Good eye you got there.
In your next video on the Camp master can you get a kydex sheath to show us kydex guys how it looks like? It’s not a bad deal for only extra $34. Do the same guys make the kydex sheath in-house?
They make their kydex in house. If I want one now I'd probably have to ship the blade back to them. All their knives are hand forged and all sheaths are custom fit to each blade. They don't use off the shelf stuff. They make them to fit perfectly

I’m gonna order my second one just cause, one with micarta and one with rosewood. Rosewood is too pretty not to. Do I just oil the wood to preserve it, like linseed oil?

But Not by KH ( only cause they can’t do the handle material I requested ). So I’m having one done by a guy in the US . Just a personal knife . Nothing to sell or anything like that . I am actually having 2 made by this guy . The other is just like a rep of something I always wanted to do ( remember the design I could not find ? It’s based on that idea ). Again - Not for sale though . ( be too much $$ for everyone to afford ). But this is great !!

It's going to be great with micarta and yes, linseed oil will work just fine.
