- There’s a lot of fallout from a ruling on an abortion case in Arizona. The state Supreme Court ruled a law from 1864 that criminalizes nearly all abortions can be enforced. FOX 5 NY’s Robert Moses has the story.

This isn't a court issue. This is an Arizona legislative issue.

Breaking news: the bill of rights/constitution(1791) is supported every single day in every court in america. Old laws dont mean they arent applicable
It also doesn’t mean that ALL old laws should remain applicable. I mean 1864, slavery was still a thing until it was fought over and changed.

Whatever side you are on, if you are blaming the court you do not understand how the branches of government work. The court is simply hearing if the law is legal or not, per the constitution. In this case, it is - old or not.
If you think the law is outdated and should not be in affect, LET THE LEGISLATORS DO THEIR JOB. It is not the court or the governors job to create or change law - tell the AZ house to do something.

courts rule in terms of the law..if the state wanted it change then legislate...it isnt a court's job to rewrite the law....

By doing so, doctors were able to save my wife's life and 9 years after marriage, thanks to IVF, we have two beautiful children (not twins). They are both in college. This would not have been possible today. Do you think Donald and other politicians know anything about women's reproduction system? Please leave these decisions to the two parents under the guidance of gynecologists

Mandatory vasectomies is a very viable concept.....
In terms of the big picture:
1. Stops unchosen pregnancy
2. Stops mental and physical life long scars on female children from unchosen pregnancy.
3. Stops young men from being held accountable to 18 years of child support by an unchosen pregnancy.
4. Stops fathers from going to jail for failure to make support payments.
5. Removes the need for social programs.
Which, in my opinion will, over time, result in every single child being a chosen child and the return of the family unit with fathers in the home to raise their children and to give their sons a hands on role model.
Or....... you know, the government can give women's bodies back.

Everybody has their panties in a bunch right now because of this ruling. It could be solved by one simple solution, the Arizona legislature only has to repeal the law. It's as though they don't have the concept that they can fix and change laws that have been passed in the past.

I believe in the "My body, my choice" for women. I also believe in the "My wallet, my choice" for men. Women literally get to make a life or death decision with NO input from the man. Abortion is a state issue not a federal issue, that has already been decided…if Arizona citizens don’t like the current state law they need to change their state laws, same as every other state…you know “we the people”.
This basically guarantees that Arizona goes blue for both elections.

The only trouble with that law is, they will not provide medical assistance to women that needed to stay alive. I’m not in favor of Unlimited abortions either, but I am in favor of taking care of our wives and our daughters I think 16 weeks is fair enough.

Sounds like an Arizona problem.
We need laws to protect men. If the father wants an abortion and the woman refuses, he should be able to be free of all responsibilities associated with that child.
It's the exact same law 14 other states have reinforced. It's nothing different. It's a law that prohibits a woman from killing her kid unless her life is in danger, it's that simple.

But babies essentially don’t have that. Babies aren’t making decisions about their health. Bodily autonomy asserts that an individual has the authority and capability to control what happens to their bodies and express their own preferences and beliefs regarding health and well being.

There’s nothing stopping you from going to a state where you could get an abortion. All the SCOTUS did was give individual states the right to choose for themselves. Don’t get me wrong, I support abortion. But I support states rights even more.
