- Five teenagers were shot in Greenbelt, Maryland after hundreds of students gathered earlier in the afternoon for a senior skip day event.
Police said they were at least 500-600 high schoolers when officers arrived at the park.
Five victims, between the ages of 16 and 18, were found suffering from gunshot wounds. Detectives believe the suspects left the park.
"This is a horrible, tragic, senseless act that happened today," Greenbelt Police Chief Richard Bowers. "There is absolutely no reason that this occurred."

the news agency is being cautious not to jump into conclusions because they have not heard of the entire matter yet, but still reported this incident in order to come out on top of other news agencies. It's all about this.

I was a nerd, into science, had a custodial job after school, appeared on local news on TV presenting a robot arm I made out of parts donated by a local hospital to the school. It moved as a prosthetic of the operators arm and hand. Never did drugs or drank alcohol. Virgin. Got a scholarship for college, but turned it down to join the Air Force. I had nothing in common with my druggy school mates and it got lonely sometimes. If you are at that age and identifying with my life, things do get better. Don't let peer behaviors drag you down. Your talents and mindset will bring you an easy life in the future.

I wish that was always true. I'm a decent artist but bad at a lot of other things. I've got 3 degrees, crappy, spotty job experience, a load of mental illnesses including autism & ADHD, and I've just gotten my 40th job rejection email in a row. Mind you, these aren't even "good" jobs. They're store, cleaning, restaurant, ect... jobs where they usually only require that you have a pulse and don't steal or do drugs (at least not out in the open). I won't give up because I have a family to support but good lord it's been tough.

If you can meet an employer try your best to arrange it and wear red, it's the best color for an interview. Work those 3 Degrees into a position that the Employer knows you'll be a huge asset. Due to Liberal Progressive DA's and Judges put in place by the "Cloward Piven Doctorine" the Shooter will most liely get 22-25 years with time off for good behavior....He She Him They will end up serving about 17-18 years.
A prison is supposed to be for punishment while receiving rehabilitation. If the person isn't going to see freedom again then why waste the resources of rehabilitation?
A little quick to judge, methinks. It's possible all those shot had pulled knives on the shooter, though exceedingly unlikely. It's an unfortunate incident, with the shooter likely the bad guy, but let's not start sentencing before we understand what actually happened.
It all depends if they followed the rules of the sport, rules must be followed to crown a new champion. It's under review by the judges due to a complaint lodged by some spoiled parents thinking their kids deserve to win.

The people in charge don’t even know what to say or do anymore. All we keep hearing is the same thing over and over and over. Our mental health system is a mess, communities are almost non existent. As long as nothing changes it will all stay the same. What a mess we are. As a young kid I never imagined living in a broken world.
Words hurt their feelings, this is why everyone should stay armed and act accordingly, do not be ran over by non- fathered youths with no remorse for taking lives.
