This would have been a nice version for John's funeral. The low synth in the back ground, the simple acoustic picking pattern, and the lead guitar that is not "over done", truly makes this sound like a sad, soulful tribute. Thank you Emily Hastings. It left a hole in my heart.

At one time I could identify,> I mean I really connected with this song.
I was deployed and came back. I listened to the song and it seems a distant memory. Something I once had but is nothing more than a foggy memory.

Michael, it's sad, but Emily was addicted to heroin, and sometime during 2015, the Milwaukee Police found her lying on a street corner, and they couldn't revive her.
