Thank you for always being so relaxed and calm as you build. You helped me overcome my aversion to building as an art, so I am now justifying relaxing time building in the Sims during my art focus time sometimes.
I'm working so hard at learning that art is so much of a broad term than we've been taught. for me at the moment it's my animal crossing island, crocheting colourful hats, and the sims. trying to allow myself to detach creativity and productivity. proud of you for doing the same, it can be tough :)
I think I've told you before but your videos are so comforting to me. I am going through my second battle of breast cancer and I just finished my lumpectomy surgery and spoke with my oncologist today and he told me we got all the cancer out but you still have to go through maintenance and I was very happy and sad at the same time. Because I'm so tired of it all but guess what? Devin has a new video on my dream home farmhouse and you just comforted me and made me feel so much better. So thank you for all you do. I'll continue to be watching and commenting on different things. I love this farmhouse and I can't wait to download it! Thank you so much! Can't wait for the next one!

Devon I want to thank you so much. 2023 was a hard year for me and its still hard. I lost my job then a few months later I lost my mom. On days that are dark and gloomy i come and watch you. You being a an amazing person who cheers me up. A hero if you will You do not know how many times i wanted to give up on everything and just turned on one of your videos and laughed away the issues. For a little while things were ok. Becauss of you. I am not one to get overly mushy and things. But you have made the world a better place and i thought you should know what you have done for me. You are a rare person. This might be my last video due to having to get rid of the pc to make ends met. But I wanted to tell you how much you meant to me and the hard times i go through. you are a pure joy and utter bliss. And i feel like i am better for having to got to know you through your content. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are amazing and i know you will go far.
had a rough day today (chronic illness flare-up got worse after I thought it'd reached rock bottom) but your videos are always so calming to my system. whenever I'm struggling with intense pain I put your videos on and watch you build beautiful things. thank you for doing what you do and this video is incredible (as always) :))

I cannot wait for this to be part of my save file. I'm planning to make it a vacation rental and take my sims there to relax and enjoy this beautiful build!
In terms to the way the floor is split between rooms, I use the foot illumination system from spa day to put within the door frame on the floor and it acts as something so you can see where the different floors meet. Just in case you didn’t know 😊
You should add a little dog bed for Daisy in your office since she is in the back of your videos sometimes! Also, would you ever do a video explaining how you move your camera around so smoothly? I can't figure out how to see things from other angles when I play, especially when I'm trying to place an object in a particular spot and it's hard to see. Do you have a hotkey that switches between the sims 3 & sims4 cameras?
using the sims 3 camera the free movement is done by pressing on the mouse wheel. if you're not currently using the sims 3 camera by default it might take some getting used to, but it is FAR superior when you get a hang of it.

I always have to watch your vids a couple of times a day because i watch them for several reasons.
Building, humor and your soothing voice.
When its time for me to calm down after a hard day of work or when i have anxiety i put on your vids.
If its an old one or new vid, i always fall right asleep when i need to.
I think to myself, i probably wake up 10 more times at night so i alway have to start it right back up.
You should do audiobooks or something...
You have no idea of how i got used to falling asleep during your vids.
Its curently 6.00h in the morning and i woke up at least 5 times.
So i saw this video 5 times.
Ive seen everything even the bathroom before i fell asleep again 😂.

So much beautiful light flowing into those windows it's a shame not to plantificate the crude out the place. I'd have oodles of plants if only both my thumbs weren't black as death... O.o
I believe there’s a set called aunt Vera’s Bathroom with the type of toilet you’re looking for. I remember because I have an aunt (grandma technically) named Vera. Edit: went to check. It’s by Pierisim and isn’t what you’re looking for, but matches your style and this house so a must download for your main bathroom!

4:36 use the fence from Strangerville…Illusion of Fence or the one from GTW…Fence for Window Shopping. Sims will walk over them and it will help break up the harsh transition between the different floors. The latter will probably be better since it comes in more swatches.
