Fairy is clearly a smart dog, who thinks “outside the box”. Just because all the other dogs do it the same way doesn’t mean she has to. Far smarter to miss out those awkward obstacles and just do some sprints. It was good to see how happy she was and it really made me smile..

Fairy's antics brought me to tears of joy due to the lovely and loving life you are providing her. A few of those tears were in remembrance of all the sweet greyhounds I resuced from the now closed and outlawed racetrack in my hometown, Tucson, Arizona, USA, who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. As a retired Elementary Schoolteacher Teacher/Counselor/Special Education Teacher, I am thrilled your students have Fairy as a companion at school! None of my greyhounds ever passed the sit and stay portion of the qualifying process in my state.

Big up from Shropshire, UK. My wife and I volunteer for a sighthound rescue, and we have fostered and rehomed a number of saluki crosses, who make greys look the model of dog obedience. I keep threatening to take Arlo to agility, but think too many people will be injured from laughing. He acts like Fairy, but much quicker, and he will sit, sometimes on command.

Nothing wrong w/ any dog doing agility at all. It's good fun, & exercise for them, & that's what matters. :) Don't let the scoffers bother you. I'd just get rid of them, & move on. Fairy's a willing participant, she likes it, & that's all that matters. You're an exceptional doggy parent. I'm sure God is quite pleased at how well you care for, & love Fairy. :) God Bless you~! :) Ty for yet another wonderful video. :)

I think that from Fairy's point of view, she got YOU off the lead so she could show you how proper greyhound agility is done. She was successful in getting you to appreciate her footwork running at speed, she got you to go through the tunnel, run around a bit, & give her a nice snack of chicken for her efforts in training you. Well done, Fairy. (I am convinced that greyhounds allow us to believe that we're in charge, only when quite convenient to them)

I don’t understand the horrible comments about greyhounds not doing agility??? You’re having fun with your pet, keeping her fit and engaged, socialising her and making friends, out and about….so does it really Matter whether fairy is a greyhound? No, imo, it doesn’t. She’s not being forced and her body isn’t being overworked in the wrong way as all the jumps are only small. She’s being rewarded and given loads of praise….so what’s the issue? Cause I guarantee all the nasty comments are from people who ‘know what they’re talking about’ but probably have psychotic dogs themselves!
I love how fairy is allowed to be the greyhound she is And gets to have fun doing agility…just ignore the idiots who ‘know what they’re talking about’ cause they’re A holes in general!!

Watching Fairy get the zoomies around the course is adorable!
I get annoyed at people saying xyz breed shouldn't do agility (or whatever)... Sure, a greyhound probably won't win top marks at agility but if they enjoy it, why not?
My wolfhound loves agility, apart from the tunnel (he's too big), and the A-frame which I guess is uncomfortable. So we skip those. At the same club I go to there's a Basset Hound who has a blast around the course! He's quite fast too!!! Again, he doesn't like the A-frame so he doesn't do it.
I understand people saying "you want to do agility competitively, don't get a xyz", but if you are just in it for the exercise and the fun, then why not???

I still don't know why Fairy was suggested by the AI. I've probably commented more on Fairy videos than any other. Fairy seems to have the same idea my dog has. They obey commands if the command makes sense to them. If it doesn't, well, you shouldn't have given the command. Heaven help her, she makes me smile. She just enjoys being a dog.

She's doing so well! I used to have a greyhound - there's no reason why she can't do agility. It's exercise for her mentally and bonding for you both. Still made me laugh to see her career around the course off lead though. I've subbed to see more of Fairy's journey.
