i got one, immediately threw check engine codes for a lean ratio. made the car more sluggish. but otherwise yeah that thing did sound really cool. for those reading, if you get one youre probably gonna need a tune.
@@bensneathen2975 ive since purchased an Injen SP cold air (CARB certified for emissions) and the problem is completely resolved. K&N now makes a short ram as well that is also CARB certified, properly tuned, and 50 state legal. id recommend the K&N because it's waaayyyy easier to install and maintain. For those of you reading who don't really know what you want, I'd highly recommend paying a bit extra for a name brand with CARB certification even if you don't live in a CARB emissions state. Better construction, and pre-tuned for the car.
Do you know how many decibels it produces (how loud it is), I live in Germany and would prefer to save the €80 fine, but want a little bit more induction noice 😅)
Losing HP and massive low-end torque with this. You need to route it out of the engine bay or else stock is better. Even with it routed to the outside of the engine bay; without a tune you will lose some low-end grunt for very little top-end.
sounds awesome! Been thinking to install one on my fit.
do it they sound good, might throw a cel but who cares haha
Man, that vtec crossover so cute ☺️
You’re not kidding❤️

Interesting, this wasn’t my car so I didn’t have much experience with before and after but good to know
