There has to be a God to make scenery like that. Thank you so much for going to the top so we could see the view. The waterfall was also amazing. Kelly thanks so much for what you do. Take care and be safe.
I know exactly what you meant of the scenery being overwhelming. I'm from New Jersey and never been out west. I used to be a truck driver. 11 years ago, I was sent all the way out west. I saw all the mountains out there. First I was in shock and extremely happy but then I felt like crying, because it felt like an overload. All of humanity should have the right to experience all of this Earth we call home. Kudos to you, Kelly!!! Keep on truckin'!!! ❤❤❤❤❤ 🎉🎉🎉🎉 😊😊😊😊
Wow. That was a steep ascent. 😮 At 4:34 look at the trees on the slope...that is steep y'all. The summit views were spiritual; there aren't words. I'm glad you hit the overlook at the falls. I ❤ waterfalls. Thank you so much again for sharing 9L. You never disappoint. ✌️
... Great day on Alaska's trails ... The waterfalls were exceptionally awesome ... .. I think in Alaska , might be a good idea to put bear spray on a neck lanyard .. with all the heavy vegetation, I'm surprised you didn't come across one .. .. Wow ,, that's one table full of food for 3 hungry hikers ... Thank you for sharing , Stay Safe ..
Dang!!! What a freaking "hill"!!!!!! Those views were the amazing payoff but that waterfall might have been my fav. I'm a waterfall and river/creek freak so there you go! Thanks for posting!!!
Hey. I’m in Anchorage also. I’m from Alabama and I’m here leading a sports camp. We watch all your videos. We swill sightsee on Friday. This is a beautiful state.
I just finished a 10 day trip three weeks ago to the Kenai Peninsula for my first ever trip to Alaska and it was one of the most incredible things I've ever experienced. We hiked to the Harding Ice Field and that's probably one of the coolest things I've ever done. Moose's Tooth was banging too!
Really enjoying your Alaska trip, Kelly. My GF and I follow you on all your adventures. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into your videos. You do,so many varied things and with your personality just keep, everything so,interesting. You ARE our favorite You Tuber!!!!!!!!
Amazing scenery can't decide if more envious of the destination or climate, west TN here is 95 to 105 degrees.. ..would not take much to convince me to move to alaska
What a beautiful area to hike in! ❤ Kelly you make exceptional videos and thanks for sharing. The food looks delicious as well. 😋 A special thank you to your hiking companions for making an extra special video.
Oh Kelly!!! Thank you so much for sharing your hike with us.❤ There’s so much beauty out there that not all people get to see for themselves. Your the best at showing the beauty God has given us to enjoy.❤❤❤❤
INCREDIBLY MAGICAL!!! I LOVE ALASKA!!!! If I could take my whole family with me, I would move there in a heartbeat!!! IM SO EXCITED FOR YOU TO BE THERE💗💗💗💗
I was so disappointed in your trip to Homer! My son and family live acoss Kachemak Bay in Seldovia, and I was so hoping you would visit there and do a post from there! We haven't been up since before COVID, and I am missing that sweet little village! Hope you are loving Alaska as much as we do!
As beautiful as your pictures and video are, They do not come close to seeing it in person. I took a pic on the Turn Again Arm, then took my wife there the next year to the same spot. Her reaction to seeing it in person was...... My God, you tried to tell me but Oh MY God there is such a difference. Your Videos are bringing back some great memorys. Live each day there. I envy you! ......... You should have gone back for the bear spray. I have lost one friend to a grizzly attack in Yellowstone. He left his spray too.
But did you dip your head in the thunderbird falls? So refreshing! Yeah, Alaska hikes don't have many switchbacks. We hardly ever have lightening. Yeah moose's tooth!
We ate at the same Moose’s Tooth when we backed in Alaska last year! There was a lot of rain! Saw lots of Devil’s Club in your video. My videos just started dropping! Backpacking Alaska ruclips.net/p/PLZagpVwkLMBTN0-iRJSqTN5sweP4kfYzI
I carry a 10mm. You don’t need to be hiking there without something for protection. It only takes one sow griz. You are on the food chain there. Please, at least carry bear spray.
Another great hike is Girdwood to Eagle River over Crow pass. It’s an all day hike though. Me and my kids hiking it. flyinghelicoptersinalaska.blogspot.com/2010/06/crow-pass-it-took-us-145-hours.html

Wow Kelly, your videos are so beautiful. Really enjoying tagging along on your travels. Thank you 🙏🏼💖🌞
Another great job. Make sure they take you down to pier so you can see the extreme tides.
I ran my 1st Mayor's Midnight Sun Marathon 15 miles up the Chugach mountains. Beautiful!
Gooood evening from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great night! Great area to go hiking!

What a great day! I love the rugged terrain, it's so beautiful and that pizza at the end, well deserved!
Just found this video. Love hiking in my town. Anchorage and just outside of the city has so many trails.
Kelly keep the videos coming! You are awesome and Alaska is insane!
I was so disappointed in your trip to Homer! My son and family live acoss Kachemak Bay in Seldovia, and I was so hoping you would visit there and do a post from there! We haven't been up since before COVID, and I am missing that sweet little village! Hope you are loving Alaska as much as we do!
Thanks for the recommendations on the hikes we did South Fork lower and the upper it was F’ing awesome. Happy Trails! Oh and welcome back to Florida!😊
Mt Eklutna was amazing. The wild flowers were cool.
And the whole time I'm thinking, maybe one of you should have gone back for the bear spray. ✌🏽
You're crazy, girl!! But good crazy. 😂 I'm stickin' with FT, AT and Pinhoti.
Chugatch state park and Eklutna peak. I am glad you had fun. 😅
AWESOME 👊🏻

There's always buckshot in the no shooting signs. 2:34

Wow I would love to do that!
Are you going to try to attempt at least some of Mount Denali?
Sooooo beautiful! We’re sold in Alaska!

Greetings from Wasilla Alaska.
What was the fun scale of Mount Eklutna hike?
12!!!!😆
Was Mount Eklunta free parking? Or did you have to pay somewhere when you arrived?
Hi. How long do you think the Mount Eklutna via Peters Creek hike took total? Thank you!
are you hiking in hokas? . i hiked Flat irons in bouklder in Hokas. comfortable but not stable on jagged rtrail area.
Yes hokas are my current favorite hiking shoe
I'm curious how you compare this to the New Hampshire climbs?
Wow that is beautiful country.. but please don’t be forgetting yr bear spray, stay safe ,, love ❤️ from New Mexico 👋👋😊
Next time I def won’t!!
@@kellyhays23 👍😊
Absolutely beautiful
Nice video

Tuhmatoe-tahmatoe ✨🤪😜

That's how I'dve gotten down too, but I wouldn't have recorded it :) Truley spiritual.
But did you dip your head in the thunderbird falls? So refreshing! Yeah, Alaska hikes don't have many switchbacks. We hardly ever have lightening. Yeah moose's tooth!
😎🤜👍
On the plus side: NO SNAKES!
👍🙏👏
You all look tender, the bears will forgive you!
I loved Anchorage but it is very definitely bear country....
Bear spray is not as good as a heavy revolver. Even that is puny on a brown bear. Call me paranoid but I would not hike through bears.
Why do you keep leaving the friends way behind lol
We ate at the same Moose’s Tooth when we backed in Alaska last year! There was a lot of rain! Saw lots of Devil’s Club in your video. My videos just started dropping!

Go to Seward
You should have taken a sheet of cardboard up the mountain, you could have gotten back down in a fun hurry.
I carry a 10mm. You don’t need to be hiking there without something for protection. It only takes one sow griz. You are on the food chain there. Please, at least carry bear spray.
You don’t know how to pronounce anywhere lol
Why i cant have friends like this🥲
