Flew this route recently.....arrivals and customs in Bangkok was chaotic and took forever too. Agree with all of your thoughts on this flight. Its also fantastic value. Love the Qf hong kong lounge as well....great service and food, when you're used to the usual average qantas lounges it comes as a big surprise lol. Safe travels mate.
