I'm Molly, a typical sushi, makeup, and fashion loving millennial girl who just so happens to be blind! I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at just 4 years old and began public speaking at age 5. I started just doing motivational speaking, but now I make videos and even model! Even though I can’t see, I know that there are bright spots in everything we face. Let’s find them together. 💕
The irony, I thought of becoming a tour guide to help the blind here in Dubai and to work on my ability to describe and express things and now I see a tour guide with Molly, in Dubai!
This must be a sign
Excuse my english, remember I’m trying to work on expressing
I love this! Your english is good, and your intention to use your language skills to share the experience of where you live is really up-lifting 😊❤
Your English is perfect and I think it's a beautiful dream go for it
Your English really was perfect! And I think you should do the tour guide for the blind work if that is what your dream is. ❤
Pom-bear is originally from Germany but it’s sold all over Europe these days and Pick-up is also German!
Don’t know exactly what it is but Molly you just lit up in this video. I feel like every travel video you film you are just in your element. You seem so happy and unburdened
OMG! I just wrote a similar comment. She really is glowing.
Judith Leiber was the designer of evening bags with beads and crystals in unusual shapes, like the watermelon and piece of candy clutches. She died in 2018 at the age of 97. Her company continues.
This is tough to watch. I just keep thinking about the people who aren't visible there. Who really built and maintains Dubai? How many people who are local actually get to experience any of the rich experiences Dubai offers to tourists? This place absolutely comes with a cost.
So if Dubai is bad for human rights what about USA who supports genocide in other parts of the world…why do you live in such a country ? Or ok and supportive of with such countries ?
@@SamraNaveed honestly I hate living in the US but I can't afford to leave. I'm a disabled person which makes immigration and citizenship difficult if not impossible to most countries. I'm also trans so that's another issue.
The US is the worst for human rights, and I don't agree with damn near anything the people in power are doing. I think the ongoing genocides in Palestine and Sudan, and all the colonizing activity the US is doing are unconscionable.
I hope that helps
The people who built Dubai are poor south east asians that have their passports taken away and are basically trapped in this hellhole. This has been well documented for decades.
Molly I’m such a supporter, but going to Dubai is not it… I know in the video you mention how “hospitable” they are but like, they are known for horrible human rights violations. Really can’t fathom why you’d go to such a place.
Lol you tell me exactly how they violate human rights and provide proof. Thanks
@@feefs2139You should do some research. It's really easy.
Just because Molly is visiting a place does not mean she is endorsing it. She is allowed to experience the world and document it.
@@feefs2139being gay is illegal there. You risk deportation, imprisonment and even death. That’s a pretty huge violation…
How is living or traveling to the US any more ethical? Knowing well the kind of things the US has done and continues to do. Stealing, bombing, enslaving just to name a few. Also so many westerners have this moral High ground that they could never align with such middle eastern countries, meanwhile having such strong relationships with Saudi Arabia. If you want to be that ethical you would have to consume many types of services and products, not bash tourists that decide to go to the middle east. Ffs
Absolutely don't want to create a pile on and I'm sure it was just an oversight but Dubai's human rights and safety for LGBT people is pretty bad and they rely on tourism. But I'm glad you had a great trip anyway!
Thank you! People have been pointing this out since she announced she was going to Dubai, but she just ignores it 🙄
@@mysticgirl She also did a sponsored post for Starbucks recently, which was pretty disappointing.
Pretty bad? You must have meant, awful.
You’re being unfair here, there are plenty of gay people in Dubai and they’re living fine, I don’t think the city need to shove the pride flag down everyone’s throat to make the LGBTQ folks happy
Just because Molly is visiting a place does not mean she is endorsing it. It just means she is visiting and experiencing a different culture.
Yikes not Dubai, it’s literally sin city over there. Opulence in a sea of poverty
Opulence in sea of poverty sounds just like the US tho
@@itstessen yup pretty much
I love your travel vlogs! It’s so fun the see the accessibility of each town and how you experience travel
The bags are stunning. I love the way you are so detailed in describing things. Even though I’m sighted, it’s still beneficial because sometimes I listen to your videos while doing other things (kind of like a podcast) and can still easily follow along. Curious what your mom’s Zara purchases were! Also when she tries food with you, as a sighted person, I would love to see her reactions on camera too if she’s comfortable with it, instead of just hearing her voice off camera! Basically just saying I love your mom lol. Awesome video Molly 👏👏 I love seeing how you explore the world
Molly, you are looking radiant in this video. I am so happy you enjoyed your visit to Dubai. Sending so much love and light.
Oh Dubai! I could never go for risk of being deported/prison (and whatever happens to me in the interim!). I can imagine the big incense market would be a real appealing aspect for someone with minimal sight though!
I never see you on my feed anymore and I don’t know why! Happy to see a video of yours!
Enjoy your videos, as a sighted person I love being educated about your life and everyday struggles. I feel like it helps me to be a better rounded person. You’re such an ally of the LGBTQ I find it a little disappointing you would publicize a place with such poor LGBTQ and human rights.
I know, right? If she brought her gay best friends there they could get arrested... also, Dubai treats women horribly, which should also be a red flag 🙄🚩
@@mysticgirl she literally went to an event thats all about Empowered Women? And no being gay doesn't simply get you arrested, there are plenty of queer people in Dubai and some of them live a flamboyant and extravagant lifestyle and some are more discreet and down low (just like in the west) yes you can get arrested for public indecency that can overlap with being LGBT but most importantly this is not something that tourists are a known victim for. Please do not exaggerate things
DOES NO ONE ACTUALLY LISTEN TO UNDERSTAND??? She was there for a summit on women's empowerment. This woman does not owe you a damn thing. Unless you are actively working to change things in the east- sit down and shut up. You aren't an activist- your a clout chaser.
This is so much fun! Thank you for all these encouraging videos 💞💞
Thank you for taking us on your trip
"I couldn't see a damn thing" lolol
I giggled at that, too!
I love the pearl headband! 💕
I guess I’m just disappointed that you would give a country like the uae advertising where it is literally illegal to be gay. Maybe I missed a season and don’t understand the context of this?
@DanSgambelluri hilarious is it?
Sounds a bit racist doesn’t it 🤔 hold the same energy for texas as well
@@VirgoLunaKnight it has nothing to with race and everything to do with their laws. It is literally illegal to be gay.
You know that most of the penal codes that made lgbt being illegal come the British colony? Even more important have you asked queer people in countries where LGBT are still in progress if they have an issue with tourists visiting? Cause we don't have any issues with that, stopping tourism will achieve nothing.
you have anything to say about the human rights issues in the US? No? Just other countries, hmmmm. Sounds like bullcrap to me. She doesn't owe you anything. Step off.
I am loving the shorter cut and dark hair color on you, Molly. Also, congrats on the recognition from Forbes.
Everything looks so cool! Love the outfit, I aspire to be as fashionable as Molly.
I love your look in the closing! The silver sweater with the pink lip and your short dark hair just look so chic and sophisticated. ❤
I just love all of your travel videos!!!❤
I absolutely love the shorter haircut on you! You look stunning! 💕💕💕
You bought beautiful items! The silver sweater is so pretty! And the pearl necklace, too. The jeans are very interesting - everything will look so good when you style them! The Middle Eastern food looked so yummy!
Molly you look so cool with this haircut! especially with that Prada chain slaaay girl loves it
The arabian tea house was my mom's favorite breakfast nook she'd take our family to almost weekly! - I'm studying abroad right now and your vlog really made me miss home
Welcome to Dubai! Fan from Dubai here❤
I ❤that sweater and the last cute purse. I love your travel videos because you truly immersed yourself into the culture and try their cuisine.
This is so cool thank you for sharing
So glad you were able to visit.
Yall she is showing us her life. She had a business trip to Dubai and I think many of you would enjoy travelling even to places you might not fully agree with politics. It is still enjoyable to her and she is sharing her life and fun she is having.
You looked particularly beautiful in this video, Molly. I REALLY loved how your hair looked when you swept the bangs up and to the side. Very chic! I also LOVE that cardigan! I would have never guessed it was spray-painted. It looked like silk, or maybe satin yarn and was such a beautiful color of glistening silver. It matched that pyramid purse to a "t"!
just a heads up! your captions have the VO from your editor labeled as Niamh talking! (apologies for forgetting your editor's name, shoutout memory disorder gang)
lovely video very excited to watch the rest of your adventure! :)
I think her editor's name is Erin.
@DanSgambelluri My bad. Me being 2 different letters off
I’ve commented on editing mistakes twice in 2 separate videos and no one responded or changed the mistake.
Niamh is pronounce "neve" in Irish. It's an Irish spelling
I LOVE your travel videos as it’s so hard for me (electric wheelchair & oxygen & ventilator) so your showing me the world thank you 🙏 you such an amazing human ❤🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵
Ahhh, you visited many of the same places i did when i got to visit in 2018! I'm glad you had a good time! It's a beautiful country. I got the opportunity when my former spouse was deployed in Kuwait, and he flew me out to visit. The fountain show below the Burj Khalifa is beautiful. I also love the dandelion lights along the walk. I'm not sure if the lights would be bright enough for you to see. I didn't go in the aquarium at the Dubai Mall either, but I DID go skiing for the second time in my life there.

KurKure is a traditional Nepali and Indian snack and quite popular !-I am from Nepal and now I live in Calgary ,Canada and I always find that kurkure is a good grab and go snack its very popular -Also mama bear pronounced (kurkure a little off )so you might want to google translate -just to know how to say it but this video is Great As Always and Very entertaining and you always learn something new :) -NICELY DONE MOLLY MAMA BEAR AND THE TEAM!
Baklava is one of my absolute favorite deserts
Molly: I don't really have jet lag
Also Molly: There is a 12 hour time change
I think that you had jet lag lol. That's why you needed so much caffeine haha.
I love the Pom Bear snacks. I tried them for the first time in Europe!
Omg those pom-bear chips bring back old memories, cause my grandma used to give them to us when we were kids! Haven't had them in ages, I didn't even know they made various flavours nowadays
I literally want to be and live like Molly when I grow up🩷🩷🩷
That silver cardigan is the first thing I noticed in this clip - the second was that pink lip! 💖 ALSO - we’re going to need to see those jeans on.
We have Pom-bear in the Netherlands too and I love the original salty flavor the best 😊
Pom bears are from the Netherlands but very big in UK. But found all over Europe. It looks like UAE have a lot of British and European foods
You can get Pom bears in the uk they are a staple for primary school pack ups.
Love your content Molly! Where are those beige sweatpants but elevated they're beautiful
My daughter flew to Abu Dhabi and spent a day there. She absolutely loved it there and said she would love to go back.
I have literally never left my home state but I want to travel the world SO BADLY❤️
Beautiful camera work.
A lot of these comments are the reason Jenna marbles and Elyse myers left. This level of criticism is not necessary.
Have you ever been to the mall of America in Minnesota? You would LOVE it!❤
we have that same bag masala much here in toronto canada in typical sobeys grocery stores.
The Kurkure masala munch is an Indian snack!! The green chutney flavour is the best one imho!
So if you bite on the pearls and it’s a little crunchy, then that means it’s actual real pearls that’s what my mom said I don’t know I don’t own any pearl necklaces or jewelry but just FYI if you bite on it don’t bite through it but bite on it and it’s really crunchy then that means it’s an actual freshwater pearl or like pearl
You are hilarious Molly. The part where you got free tickets😂❤
You should make a video on travel tips!
I love Elton John, new cuddle buddy, so adorable and perfect for him
100% dog bags are everywhere but where you need them!
Powdered camel’s milk! Wow, never seen that before, cool! I want to try that!
I'm so disappointed by so many of these comments! As she stated in the video, Molly was in Dubai for an important summit. This wasn't a simple vacation, and frankly, even if it was, she is allowed to visit other countries and enjoy the cultures in those places, regardless of the issues there. I am not saying those issues are minor, but there isn't a single perfect country out there, and just because she visits a place, that doesn't mean she supports everything they do.
She went to an event that's all about empowered women and yet the comments are "they treat women horribly there".
@@itstessen Yeah, it's a bit ironic.
Yes! You put more eloquently what I have been saying in the comments as well.
@@imperfectly_megan Thank you. 😊
love your content on youtube
I’ve been n lived there 4 a year with my brother
I would be interested in visiting here
Great vlog! You should get the Osmo to film it might make it easier for you guys.
Hi Molly, I’m visually impaired and have the same eye condition as you I know you’re a motivational speaker. Do you have any upcoming events I can go to?
I love those pants on the first day! Where did you get them?
Just curious..when you travel you hired a private tour guide..do you go through a certain company or do you just google a private tour guide in the area
We have pick ups in Denmark 😊
German snacks! Nice ❤
Pom bears are a stable here in the uk 🇬🇧 England! And so are pick ups ❤
You should do Easter candy reviews
I didn't know Waitrose were outside of UK!
Waitrose is a UK brand. Pombears are a lunch box staple in the UK and are available at most supermarkets. I am not sure about the other stuff but the sandwich biscuits look familiar.
Hi Molly! I think the Pick up snack is European, I live in Portugal and have had them since forever 😊
where are the beige sweatpants with ribbons from??
They’re from Anthropologie. I asked her about them on her Patreon.
You look like Shania Twain with the hood on! Gorgeous! Fabulous video! So interesting to see a different culture.
Thank you for your videos. You are a beautiful, modern, classy woman looking so good in your new haircut.
I’d never go there because of their view on women. But I think this was probably a paid trip for the Forbes summit.
Sweetheart molly you are stunning in everything you are an awesome be hearted woman iam so excited to watch you're new video's you are a beautiful inspiring woman iam always so proud of you
Off subject from this video: BUT I think you should do a video on Jessica Albas skin care and/or make up line "honest"
where are the cream pants from the begining from?! love
I’ve searched hard for it, and I found them! they are from Anthropologie 😀
But where are those pants from??
I am shocked that your mum doesn’t know what pombears are winces she’s from Ireland! Here in England we have them but I’m sure only ready salted flavour
Thank You So Very Very Much Molly For Your Very Nice Things That You Are Doing For Yourself And Also For Us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Job!!!!!!!! XOXOXOXOXO!!!!! From: Philippe Bouchard!!!!!!! (The Blind Musician) (From Clair New-Brunswick Canada)!!!!!!!!!! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I don't know if this is true, but I've heard if you react to cows milk but not other milk (goat, sheep, buffalo, camel etc) then it is the protein in cows milk you are reacting to, not lactose (the sugar), as the lactose is in all(?) of them. Just mentioning it, in case it's a useful thing for you or anyone seeing this to research or get proper advice on.
On the other hand, if it really is lactose you react to, you also need to avoid peas and corn because they turn into lactose (or something similar enough) as they are broken down in our stomachs. This one I do know for sure as a couple of people in my family are lactose intolerant. Also watch our for certain alcohol, like prosecco which you would never guess could affect you. (The way Prosecco is traditionally made uses a milk by product.)
I am not sure where you've heard that, but as a heavily lactose intolerant person, peas and corn are not a concern. The sugar that we call lactose is a composite sugar that gets broken down by the lactase enzyme. I have eaten a lot of peas and pea soup in my life, never had any reaction to it, even though I can barely eat some cheeses. I agree on the cow milk vs goat milk, though, because goat and sheep milk have almost the same amount of lactose as cow milk does. Prosecco also does not contain lactose. There are a lot of things I have to be careful about because for some reason lactose gets added as an ingredient to way too many things, and milk powder as well (please watch out for milk powder, especially skimmed milk powder - it contains up to 50g lactose in 100g, while milk only contains up to 5 g per 100g).
Well this is a no for me. No need to promote this country.
Is the US more ethical to promote?
Pombär and Pick up from Germany or at least we have them also here
Y Dubi woman are 2nd class there
Wow!!!!!! Such A Very Great Journey My Very Dear Friend and I am So So Glad that it went Very Very Well for you!!!!!! Thanks Again Molly and A Very Nice Job!!!!!! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😮😢🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
