Would you want a follow up video like this? If so, what questions do you have for next time?! :) Wanna see my MOM in a video? Watch this old gem! ruclips.net/video/NIQsEY5M38c/видео.html
Maybe a video with both of them? And a question for both of them would be: What was it like to be the parents of two active kids with some different needs? (Ex: schedules for school, sports, ect.), another question would be: What was the most exciting part about raising Molly?
I would love it if you could interview your brother the way you've done with your parents. And yes I would definitely be interested in a further interview with your dad!
@@savanathiers5352 what are you talking about? He literally talks about their decision to start a family...... hence Molly and her brothers creation. Am I missing something?
My dad suffers from glaucoma, and about ten years ago he was categorized as legally blind. I remember at the time telling my friends and people around me and everyone’s reaction was “oh so he’s not REALLY blind”. It makes me so sad to know that there is such a misunderstanding about vision loss, and such a lack of compassion when someone’s sight does not fall within the black and white of fully sighted or seeing 100% black. I’m so glad there are people like Molly helping people to grow in understanding and empathy when it comes to disabilities❤️❤️
That's a rough place to be. Before I had it surgically corrected, I was legally blind if I didn't have my glasses. This didn't surprise anyone in my family, since my dad has had Coke bottle glasses since age 3. Most of the time it wasn't a huge problem, because I always had my glasses (you never lose them when you can never take them off!), but I ended up learning to do a lot more things by touch than most sighted people can. I learned how to navigate my parents' house by touch so well that the first time my now-husband visited, I legit forgot to turn the lights on for him when we arrived at, like, 1 in the morning. I'm just casually strolling through the kitchen to the hallway and he's still standing in the doorway like "um... hello?" XD
As someone who has never met a blind or visually impaired person it's probably something I would have said in the past... thanks to Molly I know so much! I'm a much better better person thanks to that 🙈
I have to say, Molly you look stunning in this video ! Your whole look compliments your features. Your lip color is perfect, the neckline of your shirt is very delicate and your hairstyle is on point. Also, I really appreciated this simple conversation with your dad. Thank you for opening up those intimate conversations with us.
It's so clear how passionate your dad is about accessibility and how much he loves you! He's very intelligent and well-spoken. This was the perfect pairing with my dinner! :)
No need to punish your visually impaired kids! Just move their furniture around without telling them! 🤣 Loved how he gave you "ear muffs" when he said that.
Oh my gosh, I am so excited to watch this video. I am totally blind myself, I actually had a conversation with my dad about this topic recently and it was such a great conversation. Definitely interested to see what your dad has to say.
I REALLY enjoyed this conversation with my dad and think it's one worth having for all blind children! It's so important to understand your parents perspective/experience of your blindness!
Agreed. I’m not blind but my parents didn’t do a very good job raising me due to their addictions and poor mental health/financial stability. I love to see when parents do everything they can for their kids. Now that I’m a mom, I go above and beyond for my child.
Only 2% of disabled representation in media? I did not know if was that low! We definitely need to do more to support creators who are spreading exposure
I love your dad!!! Please do more videos with him. :) As a disabled woman who was primarily raised by a single father, I love hearing a dad's perspective on parenting and disability. I'd love to hear more about when you guys worked together. My dad and I (and my older brother) also worked together for about 5 years. Also, I'm curious how he explained your disability to others or how he and your mom taught you to explain it when you were younger. Love you Molly!
Your whole style vibe in this video is a bit different in than how I usually view you. I always love your style but it’s cool to see you stretch outside of it a bit! You look gorgeous- I especially love that lipstick!
I appreciate if they would rather not be online, but I would be interested in hearing from your brother his view of your childhood and how he had to adapt to your diagnosis.
I love finally getting your dad in on a serious video, and to hear his side of how he felt raising you. I really enjoyed both your interviews with mama and papa bee
How about a discussion with BOTH your parents? Better yet have them ask questions to you. I could go on, but it was great to meet your parents. They are a blast & your guardian angels, Mollie!
I just wanted to let you know that because of you explaining in one of your videos about the social vs medical model for disability has inspired me to do an extensive research paper in college about the topic. A topic that my professor has never read about and doesn’t know much about.
I was diagnosed in 1982 with rp but my parents and siblings never talked about it my whole life. 40 years later, now both my parents died and I will never know how they felt about it. Happy that your parents accepted it, must feel really good to have them stand by you.
Molly I love your top.I love the way your family is answering questions about their experiences with your disability It is very educational. As a disabled person who is considerably older the education system was much worse and was better than it was ,when you talked about the 1990s,I was in school in the 1960s and 1970s and believe me it was worse with accommodations. Increasing access is very important.
My birth mother gave me away to my dad at birth. My dad adored me at 3 he passed away from a smoking. Molly you are so blessed to have both of your parents
Molly, your Dad and Mom are both awesome!!!! Excellent questions and answers. Please do another interview with each of your parents. And perhaps one with parents together? Thank you and your Dad for this interview.
I was waiting for this video since you interviewed Mama Bee! Molly, I also wanted to ask you if you could do a video about how to find your style. I feel like I don’t have a style and I have a hard time putting outfits together. Have a nice day!
I so appreciate your dad's vulnerability and honesty here. It's really moving! I can imagine this would be a great video for other parents to watch who are going through something similar and are maybe at the very beginning of it. You have such a great family!
I think it's my first time seeing your dad & I fell in love with him too just like I did with your mom! You have such great loving parents no wonder you are such a sweetheart and we all love you too! Like Prince Edward from Enchantment said "What's not to like?"
I see where Molly gets her sass from. You have some great parents. I think it’s great that you guys are all back together in Canada again, because family is important. I think your dad is right about one thing. When you’re blind it does make you a good judge of character, because you’re judging somebody based on their personality and how they act instead of the way they look.
Molly you are very lucky to have such wonderful parents. I was diagnosed with rp when I was 15 I am now 55. My parents just ignored my vision issues my whole life. Now they are no longer here. It was tough trying to figure things out on my own. I had no knowledge of my own disease. I grew up afraid, embarrassed and ashamed of what I had. I went through life pretending I had perfect vision. But it has left me with so much anger and trauma. Thank you for sharing all your experiences. Somehow it makes me feel better.

I remember at one point my eyes were badly infected and I had no glasses. I was practically visually impaired I needed to follow someone else while going through an airport in a country with which was unfamiliar. Never take your sight for granted.
Hello Molly I love your dad he’s very soft-spoken and well thought of. I would like for you to do a follow up video explaining how did you and your dad work together what was it like for the both of you? Your dad seems very friendly and gentle.
Your dad is really funny! I look forward to watching the next 6 instalments of this series :) My favourite answer that he gave was to the question about what you do better and he talked about how because of your vision loss you don't fall into the trap of making judgements based on people's appearance and presentation, you are able to truly form an opinion based on a person's words and actions. I thought that was so lovely.
This is the best interview I have ever seen.. I work with families and children with vision loss and I am always looking for great resources to help them learn about their child and their difference.

yes i agree. an interview with her brother would be a good video idea.
Ditto, commenting so more people see this! I was thinking that all the way through the video!
I was about to comment the same, we need a sibling's perspective too! :D
Has her brother ever appeared in a video?
I think her brother doesn't want to be shown online for privacy reasons, but if he does I'd be interesting in hearing from him too!
The fact that he wears two watches literally makes him a superior being...he is certified iconic.
Wait, he does?!
Oh yeah, I completely missed that!
First thing I noticed! 😂
your dad has such a gentle comforting energy and he's so soft spoken
I feel like both of her parents are like this, and I wonder where she got her bubbly and somewhat chaotic energy from lol
Molly always talks about how busy her dad is with work and now we finally know what he does
HIs job sounds so cool!
yes he fights flees and tics with seresto
ok we stan Papa Burke!! He looks so cool. 👏🥰

So similar. I love ur profile picture!🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱

yeah. you can really see the resemblance.
Yeah it her step father too her biological father passed away when she was like 5

Him and Doctor Mike!
Isn’t one of them a fitbit type of thing?
Luis from the bram fam also does it !
