dude...duuude...this truck is badass, very impressed with the look. you both did awsome with these builds im torn with whos going to pull it off....but i believe you got this, drive the hell out of it man
Nice job matt, that looks sick! I cant wait to see both trucks side by side n goin head to head. Wish i could go to PBTF, itd b so awesome to meet u n josh both
Glad to see you made it home safe and sound. As luck would have it I didnt make it to proline this year, despite my demands that you show up all the way from North of the wall... Really sad I couldnt go but I wasnt ready. I promise you next year if you come down again, I will have tacos waiting for you. REAL SOCAL TACOS!!!! thanks for making the trip and it seems you had a blast. Please come back. Tacos.
I really like Josh's build but yours is beyond awesome... I think proline should consider replicating it for production... I'd buy one for sure.. Keep up the amazing work. I look forward to both of your updates.
That truck is badass. Amazing work in a short time! Would love to see a future monthly mayhem challenge featuring something meant for sand. Beach season is coming! I think there’s enough that’s unique to operating an RC in the sand to make that a lot of fun! I’m thinking Baja, Truggy, Trophy Trucks.
If you don't want that build copied u better get a patent! That is one of the best looking rc's i ever seen and i sawed a lot! I declare u is da winner!!!!
That body work, paint, and weathering is really stunning. Very well done. Very talented. Always impressive to see your work Matt. Thanks for taking the time to put out the videos.
Thanks for making me laugh and smile 😊. Amazing truck 🏁👍👻. Ya we,mite need to start a go fund me for Josh so he can afford the Race Tractor. When you win. I would pay whatever they want, it's sick. But I would need to sell everything I own first.
Can't wait to see the competition, should be great to see which approach is more effective. Pro-Line should buy the Race Tractor, make an RTR replica, and use it for promotions. -"Angry" Dave
VERY NICE! I am just starting to get back INTO this hobby. I just got my TRX4 Sport today, rtr , wanted to get back out on the trails asap. Now I am in the market to find a build kit, well starting research... I am leaning towards the UMG10 by Axial. I have been waiting for one of the major 4 to create a Unimog..... I too have always loved the Unimog. So when I saw Axials UMG10, I was pretty excited. When i heard it did NOT come with stock portal axles, i was semi let down. But then you made it apparent, a 3rd party has already made them. WOOT. UMG10 KIT HERE I COME! Thank you for your vids. Subbed, liked, and watching ALL the channels vids! Thank you for your channel! I hope to soon join you RC fanatics on youtube as well, someday!
Wow I love that power wagon !! I just got my power wagon today from the paint shop, it's got 11 LEDs !! It Is my new TF2 trail rig !! Black and chrome . Really digging on your weathered Power wagon. Good luck to both, man this is going to be awesome. Appreciate you sharing this is my passion I love it
Very nice man ! The body looks amazing ! Did you do a scale exaust ? That is one of my main points. Maybe desiel ? Some stacks or something or a single pipe with a big tip. Just a thought
Being a truck guy this really appeals to me, I like the finish, I have seen the full size, the body is similar to Associated's Short Course truck they made and I liked it a lot but it was independent alround unlike the full size. I notice the truck has only a brake and clutch pedal is the throttle control on the steering wheel, and are you going to add the lap belt part and add a driver. Also the bed and cab sort of lean into each other as if the frame is bent. So far you have nailed it on scale details, hopefully it will hold together as Harleys is a steel cage design so will be stronger.
Definitely killed Josh in the detail department. I hope you guys get videos of this competition for those that can’t be there. And I see the UMG back there, are you going to do an update on that build? Its looking good.
Great to see a scale build married up to a high performance off road race chassis. Will you guys be running these rigs at the Proline by the fire U4 course?
Did you paint the sophisticated finishes paint on top of your layers of air brush, or Underneath and sand away where you wanted the rust to show through?
Love the truck. I’m thinking I need one myself! If you win this one harley should buy you the real truck and you can take him for a ride. Then he can wash it!!
I wish I could see you at 'the Fire'. Sounds like a blast. That truck is looking GREAT! That paint technique is amazing. I'm not as impressed with the tires as you are but if they are good for points I'd keep them. I just don't think they will crawl like the others. It still looks like an abused broken framed PowerWagen.
Ah I see you have the Axial UMG10. I can’t help but think that Axial saw my Unimog build I did a while back and secretly took notes. Lol I’m 90% sure they didn’t. Mine is a smorgasbord of Axial Dingo frame, bumpers, drivetrain, Tamiya Unimog body and Gmade portal axles. Cause you know, Unimog and portal axles go hand in hand lol.
Amazing build Matt! Looks absolutely stunning! As a fellow Canadian I believe you have the upper hand in winning this challenge! Definitely hard to put a price on the original Race Tractor, such a beautiful piece of machinery!
Sure make Josh by the race tractor, BUT MAKE IT WORK BOTH WAYS, if you loose you should have to buy it! As for how much I would pay for it, Not A Dime!
Your missing a pedal on the interior .... Manual transmission with only 2 pedals isn't gonna work out too well lol. Awesome work man, keep it up. Looks amazing.
Simply sick. Incredible job. Hosh Posh doesn’t stand a chance. SBG4LIFE!
And as it turns out, you're right!
I don't know what looks better that paint job or your hair cut👶you gave everyone but your barber props..
HAHAHAHA
Looks awesome! Can't wait to see you whop up on Josh. And YES, when you win he should buy the Race Tractor for you.
He owes me a Race Tractor!
That paint! Killin it on attention to detail!
Cheers!
I'm pretty sure you've got this in the bag--awesome job!
Thanks very much!
You win in the looks department hands down
SUCCESS!
Great job. Live the weathering
Thanks!
You are great.. Inspiration. Thanks for your enthusiasm
Looks fantastic!! Good luck out there!!

The rig already looked amazing but the weathering techniques you used really made the whole truck come to life. This has been a great series to watch.
Thank you so much for watching!

You're very kind!

The way you opened this vid is exactly what goes through my head when I wake up and think of all the work my trucks need before proline. SO HOOPED.

Thanks Marc! Will you be at BTF?
Great work
Those tires look great! I like how you mounted the spare tire on!
Thanks, simple but effective. Better than a stack of zipties like the other guy!

Thanks Kevin, this one was tight!
I do like your power wagon paint job is great. Give Harley hell at the Fire.
I'll do my best, thank you!
Don’t let tim hear you say lexan can look like a hardbody. Been there, done that.
But it can!
When are we getting a proper look at that UMG10? Paint job looks awesome!

I think Josh can afford a couple hundred thousand for your race tractor. 😂 your truck looks sweet. Can't wait to see you both in action.

I believe that's the plan!
Great build bro! Outstanding detail, love the creativity!
Thanks!
Your rig looks awesome , but the extra weight of Josh's cage might give him a traction advantage.
Yep, but that advantage gets negated in many of the other tests!
That paint job turned out amazing! Awesome looking truck !!
Thanks John!
Looks great I agree with you Harley should have to buy the real truck if you win
Totally agreed!
I like your Unimog-10 build. Mine is orange with white bed deck,
Cool!
:D i'm very excited by Proline at the Fire
ME TOO!
Did you paint the sophisticated finishes paint on top of your layers of air brush, or Underneath and sand away where you wanted the rust to show through?
On top. Sparingly. You can do it underneath, but requires thicker bottom coats and lighter top coats.
Love the truck. I’m thinking I need one myself! If you win this one harley should buy you the real truck and you can take him for a ride. Then he can wash it!!
We'll race Hammers together!
Yeah, do a gofundme or something for an sbg race tractor purchase!!!
Imagine?!
Looks absolutely amazing man. Take it home for Canada buddy
I'll do my best, thanks!
Those tires were a massive stroke of good luck. They look fantastic.
I think they'll perform just fine. All the rocks in California are sticky!
Amazing build yet again! 👍🏽
Thank you!
Looking sensational sir👍🏻👍🏻🙃🙃
Yes Josh should buy it if you win & you will 😬
I think it will go anywhere from 200k +
Yikes, that much!?
