for electrified AWD, if you get a nail in one tire and have to replace it, do you have to change out the other 3 tires as well if the tread depth isn't the same? Without a mechanical connection, I can get away with only replacing 2 tires correct?
This is good but please provide repair training session for mechanic out of USA/Canada (Where the car is sold) mostly in middle Africa. Most people are afraid of buying electrified cars because no mechanic out there can repair this kind of system when it malfunction, including Toyota authorized shop service like CFAO and others... Now we are forced to by older Toyota because anyone can repair in case of malfunction Greetings from DR Congo
Now get off you butt and make a more range plugin hybrid instead keep stucking on hybrid only. 50 miles EV range with AC/Heater for the hybrid max on the Sienna and Grand Highlander.
*electrified but not electric. Lest we forget the ”self-charging” EV branding - Toyota is way behind the pack when it comes to complete electric drivetrains. The bz4x is literally one of the least efficient and worst EVs in its class.
If you haven’t noticed Toyota don’t care about pure EV’s… nor does any other Japanese automaker!!🤔 Now the rest of the world’s automakers are following Toyota’s lead (except Chinese makers and Tesla)… the ignorant automakers who still wanted to push ahead with pure EV technology are now struggling financially. Toyota Hybrid is the most efficient platform of any consumer vehicle in the world, so you probably best not forget that😂😂
@lukeclifton4392 legacy automakers are very behind in EV (except Tesla, Chinese and Korean brands). So going with hybrid is an easy way to stall for time so they can catchup. Heck, Toyota is even using BYD batteries and EV tech in their future cars because they are so behind! Toyota are excellent at manufacturing, but they are not innovators, and they are behind. Also, most efficient platform of any vehicle you say? EVs are 80-85% efficient powertrains including energy production, movement, storage, conversion and finally to the wheels. The best ICEs are only 20% efficient, with the best hybrids only achieving 30-35% efficiency at best. Toyota's darling hydrogen powertrain is only 40% efficient lol. I wouldn't call a 30% efficient powertrain most efficient 😂
The Prius should have been where the Tesla Model 3 is today. Toyota stood on the sidelines for YEARS letting the Prius fall behind. And here we are today with no fully electric version of the Prius.
Why? Prius is Prius because it's a hybrid. In 2024, it's a great value at $30k or $35k for the plug in that has the best city range and best highway range.
The little things under the hood most drivers would barely notice or be aware of!

Compare with BYD Shark please
It needs electric turbo. Acceleration is not exiting enough.
6.5s isn't enough?
@@terrancecloverfield6791 6.5 is not sufficient to be called SE or XSE
How about self driving?
First comment also my dad is fan of Toyota
Cada vez mais os carros elétricos vão conquistando a simpatia dos usuários
Wow that's amazing 👏🤩
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Battery electric, that's a new discovery.
Unmatched plight of shamelessness.
So not zero emissions then? Toyota, racing to become the Blackberry of the automotive industry.
I will never buy a fossil car again! Toyota need to speed up the EV production.
Lol dream on. EVs are dead
...and this is why people say EV is a cult. Stop making us look bad.
Hybrid Max - I thought it was just a turbo charged engine //
😊😊😊😊❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉

Try bring extra power for ev with 1 gallon bottle. How far will it go.
Most car brands have these features this is just one of them
…and what other brands are you referring to?, because I can’t think of any that utilise a system that is as efficient as Toyotas hybrid.

Volvo has been using this tech for a long time so it is not new tech toyota is just making it like their own from others
Electric awd means nothing
