I know leraje, I'm friends with him but he's not someone I would fully trust. I see him more like a lion, keep him well fed and on your good side and he's quite placid but that nature can change in a heartbeat. He'd soon turn round and eat you alive literally. My friend has more experience with him than me as they have known him years but he's poisoned them and killed them twice, then they have been brought back. he has also eaten some of thier friends souls.
Demons are not something anyone should be messing with as it will only end badly, fortunately leraje is quite good to us apart from the odd occasion but he's still not fully trust worthy even if we are friends.
That honestly sounds like a sludge entity and not a demon. They are often mistaken for each other as a lot of sludges act on peoples natural fears of demons and mimic them. Energetically though what you describe is low vibrational and low vibrational darkness fits the profile of a sludge, while demons are high vibrational darkness. People often fall into working with sludges thinking they are working with demons and end up with situations exactly like you are describing. This is why there is a such a huge difference between people who have bad experiences with demons and people who have good experiences, because they are working with two different beings.
That doesn't sound like something he would do. Unless it was an enemy of his? I used to know him in a past life. He was quite nice to me.

Those are parasitic entities, completely feeds on your fears. Real Daemons are not going to do that. Daemons are powerful, most of them are pagan gods. They don't hurt their worshippers. Before any rituals clear your mind. Do Clensing ritual.
Okie, I'mma just say it. THIS is not all shits and giggles. This is dangerous. VERY dangerous matter of fact. Coming from a teen who had dealt with with kind of stuff. And was hurt a few times. Also, Leraje is NOT someone you just summon. I just learned my lesson on that... And so are the rest of those demons in hell. Their nobody's friend. And you shouldnt be summoning nor communicating with it. This is not a game
It honestly depends on how you approach them and what you are approaching. There are entire groups of people who work with demons who have no issues at all. Like the Demonolators. They approach them with respect and appreciation which naturally shifts them into a higher vibrational state.
You have to understand what you are approaching there are dangerous creatures out there like sludge entities which will harm you, this is why we approach demons the way we do without fear because it prevents a sludge entity from pretending the be a demon. Also, If you have a good spiritual foundation and know how to protect yourself you can keep out unwanted forces.
This is the exact reason why we say education in the beginning and reading is important. It sounds like to me you met with a sludge entity and yes interaction with them can be devastating and in some cases deadly. I have worked on cases where we have had to remove them from people. There is though a huge difference between true demons and these sludge creatures.
