Great video, well edited. Have been looking for a track bag on and off for a while and as a Festool fan like yourself then I would have gone for their bag. However, I will be buying the Makita track bag,. Even though it will just sit in my workshop. It is much stronger and secures your rails and the price makes it a no brainier.
Great presentation and editing. Very good video. Thanks for pointing out how well padded the Makita bag is compared with Festool as this really helps me to decide between the two.
Hi, stellar work as always. Don't know if you seen it but, Festool has their new track with 3 holes carved in it, center one being to put the Systainer's handle through ( the other two are to stick the track to walls for less than optimal potion to make a cut ). Haven't used my Makita bag since. Loved the video keep them coming.
I have the Mikita. My only complaint. The accessory pocket is upside down. If you forget to zip it you will lose your Allen keys and things. But great protection.
I have to solve the problem with makita rails in different measurements. one 1,4m and another rail on 1,0m. Will the 1,0m slide around in the bag? What to do?
Got my bag as part of the package with the ts55 Never use it. It's in the loft somewhere haha In the workshop they are hung up safely In the van on top of racking Like the look of Marita bag though Good comparison buddy👍
@@workshopdojo Makita revised their guide rail bag some time ago, but if you don't list a product number, it's hard to tell which one you are comparing ;)
Cool never knew ya were a Makita gentleman. - not just one of those FesTool Millionel kids . I use the Makita gear ⚙️ machines and the more precise FesTool accessories.
After using them for many years, Makita bags seem sturdy, but they are not very durable. There is a design error. When you hold the handle and move the Festool and Milwaukee, the zipper faced upward, but when you hold the handle on the Makita, the zipper points downward and rubs against the track. This causes the zipper to quickly break and cause damage to your track.

Thanks Nuno, I haven’t got one of those new tracks yet, I might get hold of one soon and review it.

I know! That’s an over sight by Makita
Thanks for much for this info. Had been wondering how the makita bag was quality wise. 👍👍

Nice to the point video
Glad you liked it

What product numbers? Is the Makita for the 1500 rails too? What about the pocket?
The Makita is actually a little longer than the Festool , not sure about any of the numbers

Oh yes! All my building tools are Makita, Festool is like my work shop kit, even though I don’t have a workshop 😂

Thanks for your point, I never knew that
It’s is insanity on Festools part to not put some thought into their very expensive bag. It arrogance in my opinion.
I know 👍🏽
