Yeah Turn 10 took one seriously wrong turn with the car sounds in FM8. Meanwhile Playground Games, while they don't have the most accurate sound, has a very good sound to most of their cars, and have been making really good steps in the right direction with the game's sound engine. Now if only they could share that with Turn 10, then they might have actually had a slightly better game.... Oh and if they didn't lie all the way up until release saying "Built from the ground up" at every turn. Playground Games didn't do that and thus FH5 even with all it's flaws is the most successful Forza game to date, and they are actually doing a great job with updates these days. You can really tell PG cares about Forza Horizon. Don't get that feeling AT ALL with Turn 10 and Forza Motorsport.
I want to take the last two clips that show the difference between the 2010 Hot Pursuit Remaster and 2023 Forza Motorsport, hack into every device with a screen at their headquarters, and replay it OVER AND OVER AT FULL VOLUME until someone makes a change. If no change is made by the end of the year everyone in that studio besides the janitor will be subject to jail time. I'm almost serious about this. 😅
The sound of Zonda Cinque in NFS SHIFT 2 and Project CARS 2 are still the best. One added note: Also Shu Uchida (Mia Taylor) and Aguri Onishi (Ayumu Uehara)'s favourite exotic car.
@@fastlanegaming I couldve sworn the run had the same sound just muted a bit bc of the over exagerated straight cut gear whine thing they had. NFS World has the same sound just not as clear and as beautiful as the NFSHP Sound.
i would argue the Zonda Cinque has always been one that never sounded quite right, though i'd argue FH4/5 got it closet to the real engine note, but my god they butchered it in FM8.
Forza Horizon 4 was clearly a rush game like FH5, but my god, what the hell was that about the car sounds, even today when I play, I get pissed off at the sounds of all the cars being horrible FH5 looks good for me
