I just started using CreaVe, I honestly wasn't impressed because I couldn't feel the typical drying feeling. I guess I thought that was a cleaning feeling. But it wasn't. I was taken by the fact that it felt like putting on lotion and wiping it off, rather than a cleanser. I was sure it was doing nothing. But alas, I kept on using it, and within a week and a half, I noticed my skin was COMPLETELY FLAWLESS. My hubby tells me my face feels soooo soft, and I told him nothing of changing my cleanser and lotion! This product is AMAZING!!! Give it a try! My baby was in the hospital for 6 months from premature birth and I have major dark circles, and I find that even those have lightened up!
omg watching this compared to where you are now, you've grown so much! you've gotten so much more comfortable with RUclips! you're literally my favorite RUclipsr of all time. Ilysm Katy 😭❤️
The Cera-ve line is my absolute favorite! My dermatologist recommended it a while back and I have been obsessed every since! Great video, super fun to watch! xo
I had to come back to your channel I just discovered your channel two days ago and can't get enough of you and ur vidz. I'm so grateful I went and picked up the cerave face wash and creme and I can't even tell u what a big difference I have already seen in my skin with just one use.i owe you big time. Thanks
Just wanted to say I love watching ur videos!!! I have to say after watching ur skincare video I went to target and bought the Cera ve products and facial scrub pads, man wish I came across this video sooner!!! It's been three days and my acre prone skin is starting to clear up!!! Thank you!!! Ur awesome!!! 😃
Love your videos! I use CeraVe products and love them! Everything you said about them in the video is so on point! Paula's Choice Beautypedia rated CeraVe as "Best" with a great review as to why it's rated "Best" on all of CeraVe skin care line! After doing extensive research/homework on skin care I have eliminated everything that has contained alcohol, fragrance and irritating oils....and it has been life changing for me. My skin has never looked better. Thank you for your videos! I'm glad I found your channel! Xoxo
I am oily and I swear to the Cerave Moisture Cream. I wear it in the morning as my moisturizer and it actually helps balance out my skin! I love love love Cerave's products!
This may be a little late, lol, but for anyone wondering about the clarosonic, I got one from sephora, and when you FIRST start using it you will most likely break out the first week. So just a tip is you get one you should start by using it once a day or once every two days 😊
Hey just so you know, you can buy clarisonic replacement heads on amazon for a ridiculously cheaper price. They are not technically clarisonic heads but I got a bag of 10 for $30. They look and work exactly like the real ones that I have purchases in the past, they even say clarisonic on the caps... I got the green acne ones by the way.
CeraVe is definitely an under rated product line. It is not meant to be flashy, pretty, or is striving to be something it isn't. It is basic simple skin care. It is very good for people with allergies and sensitive skin. I have never seen it "on sale" at any of the drugstores - that means something!
A few years ago I experienced hormonal break outs too I used the topical cream Epiduo and Aczone and it worked beautifully....also side note: I love your personality you don't try too hard like some other beauty Guru's you're chill and very matter of fact no gimicks! love that style! Keep up the good work! :)
Simple brand Oil Balancing Wipes found at ulta, walgreens etc are the bomb!!! No greasy residue and super gentle fragrance-free! No matter if you're a little heavy handed you won't irritate your skin. Strongly recommend for oily girls like me!
So I have had some issues with my skin lately. I switched to CeraVe a week ago and have noticed a huge change in my skin. Thanks for the tip! I love your videos... you are so funny and beautiful! Keep em' coming!
I have been using the Mac cleanse off oil to take my eye makeup off, it's the only thing that doesn't sting my eyes. Then I wash my face with the Mac green cleanser. Macs skincare is awesome and I have used most brands but I'd never use anything else. Try it you won't regret it x
Can't wait to go buy some of the CeraVe and try it. Sounds amazing! And I actually had no idea costco did makeup wipes but have always found Trader Joe's Micellar cleansing towelettes to be awesome. They don't leave that "greasy" feel, and aren't too expensive.
I love my Clarisonic! I have pretty crazy skin like one day it's dry and the next it's super oily, but no matter what it clears my skin up. The second i stop using it my skin goes nuts! I highly recommend it :)
Spironolactone is a potassium sparing diuretic. Many transsexual women like me take it to block the testoterone hormone. It also helps with breast growth. It's always good to always have your kidneys checked and your blood work done just to make sure you're ok, being that too much potassium can be harsh on the kidneys. 💜
I love CERAVE products. Very simple and clean. This was the second video of yours I've ever watched and I think I'm hooked. I like that you are human and a beautiful woman at that. You seem to be real so thanks for your channel.
Great video! I'm a new subscriber and I really appreciate how candid you were about your experiences with the medication. Some people may think it's TMI, but it's super helpful to hear a truthful account of the pros and cons :)
I literally can NOT say THANK YOU enough. I WAS having really bad acne problems... Which I never had before... And I didn't know why. I used EVERYTHING and it made it worse! :( I came across your video by luck .... And I'm glad I did. I used the products you mentioned and no joke 3 days using it ..morning and night ... My face was noticeably clearing up :D Less than a month my face was fully clear of acne. I use this religiously now. Lol so thank you thank you thank you for uploading this video.
Honestly the basics are the best ! I use dual soap wash my face in the sink then use sips on what I missed. Also to prevent your eyes from being dark and still have makeup, use Vaseline on a q tip a rub it on your eyes and you can even leave it on and wipe it in the morning, my friends and I used it and it works MIRACLEEEEES !
I use cerave tub on my face under makeup! I have combination skin. One thing, I do make sure it is properly absorbed before I put on any make up products.
I use the ClarisOnic pro and I love it! It changed my skin so much. I do chemical peels once a month and for my moisturizer I use La Mer and for serum Guerlain. I don't even have to wear face foundation anymore. My face is better now in my 30s than in my 20s.
If you're in the market for a makeup removing wipe and haven't tried it, I highly suggest trying out Burt's Bees facial cleansing towelettes with white tea extract. I've tried their cucumber and it p***ed off my skin but the white tea extract (yellow packaging) is beyond amazinggggg. Cerave is skincare heaven
Use cetaphil face wipes! Not oil but rehydrating , no fragrance, recommended by my dermatologist and it efficiently takes off make up. Really good stuff! It would be awesome on your type of skin!
They have a 'Beauty Spoon' at Target that I bought to use to take moisturizer out of pots. It's also used to scrape the bottom of containers ex: foundation, cream products ect so you can use ALL the product. It helps to keep my products clean and sanitary because I can wash it with alcohol after each use and it's really cheap. It's only $4-5 dollars! I agree with others about health insurance, PLEASE get some for yourself!!!
This may seem weird but for make up remover I use baby wipes no joke. Get em in scent free they take off makeup so easy and even in the eye region. Its gentle doesn't burn like makeup remover. Plus its cheap which is always great!
Hey girl im pretty sure im late lol but i hope you gave the clarisonic a chance i have the smart profile and i love it and it'd be way better than buying the sponges because you replace the brush every 3 months its worth it and you'll see your skin care work 1000x better😊
Our office prescribes spironolactone and it helps suppress the male hormone called testosterone in your body so it can help alleviate acne issues. It may or may not affect oil glands but it's not prescribed for oil gland suppression because that's a whole other drug called accutane which is for sever acne.
I have the EXACT same problem with makeup remover wipes. I swear I've tried everythingggg. My holy grail makeup wipes are the Ponds ones, I usually get the purple package (lavender scent). You totally can't smell it after you use it, it's just super refreshing, but not drying. And I feel like it gets all of my foundation off, like even my Kat Von D foundation. You should try the Ponds wipes you might like them!!
Yes!!! I've been using those Kirkland wipes for a long time. So cheap and they work great for taking off almost everything. When you first said you've tried so many you don't like I was going to suggest those lol! Love your videos :)
You should try "cold cream" it's sold in any drugstore including target.. I know that greasy feeling you're talking about and I feel the same way, but w/ this you just rub all over your face w a soft, moist little cloth and it leaves your face moisturized and amazing!
I started with the "real" Cerave and then switched to the Walmart version of it. You can get 2 bottles of the Walmart brand for the price of 1 Cerave. It has the same active ingredients.
I use the CeraVe moisturizing lotion / cream as well and I must say it is amazing and I thing using it for I want to say 4 years and you are to use that Sonic brush with your cleanser your skin will have this radiant attractive glowing looking skin and all you have to do is use it a couple of times out of the week don't use it everyday but you could a couple of times out of a week and you will notice a difference I was saying after a week or two thank you so much for sharing your skincare routine with us really enjoyed it😊
I have had many patients take that medication and they usually have end stage renal disease. You must monitor your potassium level carefully! It's a non sparing diuretic meaning it will not waste your potassium like other diuretics. I would be nervous taking this medication but it sounds like it worked well for you.
You need to do an updated skincare routine. I was prescribed the same acne medication which has really helped but I cannot get rid of stubborn acne dark spots. Idk how to assassinate them!!!!
If you don't like makeup remover, you should deff. Try the Almay self foaming cleanser. It is already foamy, so you're not over exfoliating your face, it's gentle, hypoallergenic AND it even takes off all the eye makeup, mascara, you name it. I find it in Target and it's in a vanilla colored bottle. I really swear by this stuff! Inexpensive as well.
For face wipes I am just like you, you should try the maybelline ones, they come in a pink pack and are amazing. They do not sting you eyes, or leave you sticky and are so hard to find, when I do find them they are usually at Walmart. Or another which since I couldn't find the maybelline I tried to say yes to blueberry, they are great!!!!!!
I know this video is a year old BUT I actually buy my replacement brush heads on eBay. Several people sell dupes that work just as well as the Clarisonic versions. Just thought I'd share that with you since they're much cheaper :)
haha that last line! I feel ya on that one. I lost my job after almost 20 years as well as my insurance. A lot of things aren't an option anymore! I love the CeraVe also!
I never felt the need to try the Clairsonic . . I did however get a PMD - Personal Micro Derm I only use it every other week and my skin looks and feels great. Replacement discs are only like $16 too, so yeah . I'd recommend that, you'll probably have better results than you get with those abrasive face scrub sponges.
Just found you recently and already in love with your channel. You're seriously talented and so real. Love your personality. I'm originally from The Bay Area so I just enjoy your personality and thing you're really chill! Hope you have major success with YT cause I think you're awesome. And enjoy the random 'hella'. Takes me back home hahaha! Xoxo
As an esthetician, I will tell you, it is not good to exfoliate every day. 3 times a week is PLENTY, 4 is pushing it. Also, toner is not a harsh product, t is usually calming if it contains witch hazel and will remove any leftover makeup or residue from your cleanser. It's actually more ok to tone your skin over and over than to use a cleanser on your skin for an extended period of time. Also, you should use an oil based or oil feeling eyemakeup remover
I love the Kirkland wipes. And I use the Clarisonic all the time and I can tell a difference when I haven't used it regularly. I totally think it's worth getting a brush. Maybe just start with the gentle to get used to it. Love. Had both those items in my Favorites videos for years. Good stuff. Thanks for sharing. xoxo Heidi
You may want to incorporate a Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Seum or Boots No 7 Serum. With makeup I also like the Loreal Hylauaronic hydration lotion. Oh and include a facial sunscreen SPF 50 plenty to choose on Amazon. Thanks for sharing, you have beautiful skin!
Hi, just wanted to highlight the fact that oily skin, despite being annoying, is way better than dry skin : the oil will protect you skin from every aggressions and in the end your oily skin will age slower and better than a dry skin (less wrinkles, firmer). So be careful with treatment that changes your skin type
your make-up in this tutorial is AMAZING!!!!!! your lashes and liner are perfection you look beautiful. this is by far my favorite look on you ;))))) LustreLux
I like both the Trader Joe's and No. 7 makeup wipes when I need to be quick about it. Otherwise I am totally addicted to coconut oil for the waterproof eye makeup and ponds cold cream for my face.
I swear I was just telling you to try out the costco ones and then you started talking about them hahaha. I swear to god I've been using them forever. Love them!
spironolactone. It's a blood pressure medication. Most doctors use it for its side affects. It slows down facial hair growth, helps with acne, weight gain. it doesn't cause you to loose weight but it helps with not gaining weight. I've been on it for 4 years.
If you can find it somewhere you should try ponds cold cream cleanser to remove your makeup. I got some today at Shaws for $6.99. I've only tried it once, but I've heard it works really well for removing makeup. You just wipe it off with a face wipe after.
Good to hear a dermatologist recommends Cerave, I just started using the foaming wash and I am trying to pay attention to the ingredients I put on my face. There are some good things in the wash but there are also some that one website said to beware of. It is a little confusing. You have beautiful eyes, checking now to see if you have a video on how to do those. Not that I will be able to recreate. :)
soak the clarisonic brush head in rubbing alcohol. It will totally disinfect the brush & save your money - no replacement needed (unless the bristles are laying flat)
This may seem random, but I absolutely adore your engagement ring. I would love some inspiration or guidance on the size and specs of it. I am hoping for a square halo like yours and was wondering what designer/jeweler you went through. Only if you don't mind of course, btw you are stunning and I love your channel!
Just FYI - Spironolactone 25 mg is on Target pharmacy's $4 list. If its anything like the pharmacy that I work at, taking 4 tablets a day (to get 100 mg) would just be 4 x the $4 price, or $16/month. Just ask your pharmacy to send a request for the 25's to your dermatologist. Also, you pronounced it just fine. :)
I've been using the clarisonic for prob over 5 months now and it's amazing. Recently, i tried not using it for 2 weeks and my skin broke out really bad. It was at its very worse; my skin was peeling and it broke out so bad. I used it again and my skin got better after about 3 days. In my opinion, clarisonic is worth it.
I also have hormonal acne and also thought it was because IUD Paragard turns out it was not because of that so now I'm hoping my doctor puts me on meds BTW love your videos
Have you tried the purity cleanser from philosophy for your evening makeup removal? It's super gentle and it takes off all makeup, even waterproof mascara, so I bet it would take off the eyeliner too. Get a sample at Sephora!
So true. Once you go simple with skincare you really see an improvement.
I just started using CreaVe, I honestly wasn't impressed because I couldn't feel the typical drying feeling. I guess I thought that was a cleaning feeling. But it wasn't. Which products specifically?
Do u use hydrating or foaming cleanser?
You are so great! It takes a real woman to share her experiences with strangers, you taught me a lot about skin care. Thank you so much! :)
Thank you!! ☺️

The Clarisonic is absolutely perfect!! It feels so good to use it and then put on oil free moisturizer. I love it so much!
Just wanted to say I love watching ur videos!!! Omg!! This makes me so happy!! I'm glad it's working out for you... Clear skin can change your life! 😄
I love your hair!!! Where do u get it done?!
+Kristina Vladislavich I did too!
I love the clarisonic great for getting dead skin off, your skin feels sooo good after
Love your videos! Keep up the good work! :)
Yassss!!!!! Kirkland signature makeup wipes are bomb I always go to Costco to get them. And I always recommend them .
a_gangstersparadise I never thought that I would see Costco products on a beauty channel....hmmm....time to go to Costco!!!
Can you please do a makeup tutorial on this look? You are absolutely stunning! And what eyelashes are you wearing, I love them! ❤
PLEEEEEASSSEEEE DO AN UPDATED SKINCARE ROUTINE!!!!!!
Simple brand Oil Balancing Wipes found at ulta, walgreens etc are the bomb!!! No greasy residue and super gentle fragrance-free! No matter if you're a little heavy handed you won't irritate your skin. Strongly recommend for oily girls like me!
The make up wipes from first aid beauty are frag free and pretty clean with ingredients and it takes everything off!!

Thank you!! ☺️
+Ariana Rodriguez SO TRUE It really is best when ppl are open and honest
The Ponds wipes are the best!! They smell so good and my skin feels so soft and clean after

You have beautiful looking skin. My skin suddenly took a shit on me this past year. I'm totally looking into these products!!
Honestly the basics are the best ! I use dual soap wash my face in the sink then use sips on what I missed. My daughter and I both love our clarisonic!! We can't live without it! !!
I also love the kirkland brand face wipes! Work great and are super gentle with sensitive skin!
Try the simple make up wipes, they are the only ones I can use and I have oily skin
Love it and one replacement thing is 25 on sephora they have a deal for 2 for 40
Use cetaphil face wipes! Not oil but rehydrating , no fragrance, recommended by my dermatologist and it efficiently takes off make up. Really good stuff! It would be awesome on your type of skin!

❤️Cotsco and Kirkland towelette as well ... Been doing cetaphril gonna try cer-va ... Thanks looking FAB as always
Years later I should thank you for my clear skin!!!
The pills did wonders and haven’t used anything but cerave since. Thanks boo 😘
I use the CeraVe moisturizing lotion / cream as well and I must say it is amazing and I thing using it for I want to say 4 years and you are to use that Sonic brush with your cleanser your skin will have this radiant attractive glowing looking skin and all you have to do is use it a couple of times out of the week don't use it everyday but you could a couple of times out of a week and you will notice a difference I was saying after a week or two thank you so much for sharing your skincare routine with us really enjoyed it😊
Omg you sound so different here! But I’m living for your makeup here. Also living for current day Katie as well. 👸🏻
I have been eyeing the Cera Ve products for months now and after watching your video i am now convinced ima go try them :)
Thank you sooooooooooooo much. Just moved to Chicago so my budget is super tight. Now I have an affordable cleanser and moisturizer!!!
I have had many patients take that medication and they usually have end stage renal disease. You must monitor your potassium level carefully! It's a non sparing diuretic meaning it will not waste your potassium like other diuretics. I would be nervous taking this medication but it sounds like it worked well for you.
I love CeraVe foaming cleanser and moisturizer :) Kirkland wipes are my fave too!
You need to do an updated skincare routine. I was prescribed the same acne medication which has really helped but I cannot get rid of stubborn acne dark spots. Idk how to assassinate them!!!!
Yes girl try the clarisonic it's the bomb! Shoot maybe i should do a review on that. XO

I can't believe I still have this on one of my old playlists...holy shit you really got far😭😍❤
I recommend the trader joes brand make up remover towelettes, they are the best, and I've tried so many brands.
CeraVe has a face cream hydrating that has Sun screen of 30 proof you might want to check that as well..I love that stuff...
CeraVe is a really good brand I love the moisturizer 😊
your make-up in this tutorial is AMAZING!!!!!! your lashes and liner are perfection you look beautiful. this is by far my favorite look on you ;))))) LustreLux
Love them!
Also, I use the Walmart brand night time makeup remover whips it is like 3-4 dollars and works great. Not drying and doesn't leave my face oily.
spironolactone. It's a blood pressure medication. Most doctors use it for its side affects. It slows down facial hair growth, helps with acne, weight gain. it doesn't cause you to loose weight but it helps with not gaining weight. I've been on it for 4 years.
I obsessed with your video now! I adore your life milestone!
I use the CeraVe Eye cream and even though I like it, I didn't bother to discover other products form the brand. Now I def will. :))
Just found your channel and you're amazing! I LOVE my clarisonic! I use it with purity face wash and it works great!
cerave products are amazing! i've been using their products for years & swear by them
If you can find it somewhere you should try ponds cold cream cleanser to remove your makeup.
Just bought those whips last week and I love them!!
This may seem random, but I absolutely adore your engagement ring. I would love some inspiration or guidance on the size and specs of it. I am hoping for a square halo like yours and was wondering what designer/jeweler you went through. Only if you don't mind of course, btw you are stunning and I love your channel!
Just got some of these products because I’ve heard so many good things about cerave! Thanks for the info!
BH Cosmetics have really good facial wipes.. they get everything off and don't leave an oily residue behind.
the medication you talked about at the beginning is a diuretic (water pill).
