- In this video I disassembled a Seadoo Spark/ BRP Canam Ace 900 engine. A step-by-step tutorial on how ton how to repair the crank shaft output sleeve correctly. The crankshaft must get put on a lathe at a machinist and threads cut to accept the modern output shaft adapter. Thanks for watching, comments are always live and always answered by being a subscriber.

1000% thank you. I have to replace a cylinder head in mine. I waited a year to do it (mostly because I wasn't sure how) I got to the the top of the cylinders yesterday and wasn't sure what the next step was. I can't thank you enough for posting :)
I just finished the engine assembly. Videos will be posted in a day or 2. Lots of content to edit on engine builds
Je suis français et je me lance dans le même projet, tes vidéos m'aident beaucoup
Merci, c'est du bon travail 👍
Great video.
Thanks!
Nice pace, I’m not a mechanic so I like your completeness.
Found you from your post on facebook. Awesome
Awesome video man just straight info; I didn’t even need to watch but I did just cause it was good….currently rebuilding a spark after the hull was destroyed….👍👍
They make a tool to stop the crank shaft from turning to get the output shaft off.
If you should change the crank. Do you have to take of the TOP of the engine!?
Could you just loosen the cain. And take of the chain lock at the crank?
I believe you could remove the bottom section of the engine, but your so deep into it, why not refresh the engine entirely
@@h2omechanic Thank you. But. Mine has no problems now. It only has 80hours. So just a crank change from the bottom is a "easy" job. Compare to take to. Top off.
I think its strong engine. One guy I talked to has run his for 900 hour without any problems. Just regular maintenence.
Out of curiosity did you attempt to turn the crank in that condition? Wondering if those valve guides woulda kept you from it?
No, it sat for too long, I assumed the valves could be stuck & didn't want to ruin the head if it were.
Do you need a motor jack or lift or you can lift the motor by hand with a help of someone
2 ppl can lift it out easy. Probably 90lbs
No new crank needed, the PTO on the 14/15 cranks is sweated on and can be pressed off and replaced. I have a video of this
Can you send me a link?
My crank is still at the machine shop. I'll give out his info once it's done and done correctly, if he's OK with it. He's holding up progress...
Can you send me the link I have the same problem
So we’re you able to press the PtO off? Or no
@@THEGAFMASTER yes. With Alot of heat. I have a video on the crank getting threaded
Hey man, I've just swapped the engine in my sea doo spark with a new one, got it in and fired up however it is still showing an engine code. Idles fine on the stand with water hooked up. Any ideas?
Dealership needs to plug in the code reader. I sold this ski & bought a 2 stroke.
Can you tell me do I need to change th8s m9 bolts?thank you
Yes, all 16 must be replaced. Re used they might break or cause a leaky head gasket
@@h2omechanic Can you tell me for this m9 are they stretching bolts or normal?because i dont want to buy them if they are not stretching?ty
@@tinokardum1600 they are stretched yes. Replace them
All seadoo ski are junk. Go with Yamaha.
I sold it soon as I rebuilt it and bought a All original 96 Wave blaster 2
