Great Job Sir, thanks for keeping Ba Gua alive and effective. From everything I have seen Luo DeXiu is a great teacher. I would love to train with you guys.
Thank you so much. Excellent work demonstrating applications, we all need help with Pa Kua. Hope you are still training. New sub. All the best. Laoshr #60 Ching Yi Kung Fu Association
@BioHazzard13: You think you see judo, but what you are actually struggling with is your own lack of understanding. You need to expand your conception of it since that is pure Bagua.
Depends on your take on Bullshido. Bullshido really makes fun of BS martial artists who think their forms and fake chi powers, despite lack of actual sparring or fighting experience, is enough for them to win a fight, along with their cult following. These throws in vid come from the Baguazhang art, but they are legit Shuai Jiao techniques that have been consistently proven in actual competitions with resisting opponents. Whether or not this guy has ever competed, who knows, but the guy who he said his teacher studied with was a full contact competitor in Taiwan. This guy is just showing what the technique is supposed to look like in application. Nothing wrong with that, and nothing crazy Kung fu movie nonsense about it to not be able to see the practicality with the right setup (always need setup to be in the right position for any throw to be successful). So when you see Bagua, the actual techniques are likley to come from a) Shuai Jiao (Chinese Wrestling) or b) Luohan Quan (a Shaolin based martial art that's more striking based with less emphasis on locks and throws, but they still have some too). There may be others that have been absorbed over the last century as it branched out, but those were the main two from the main branches originally.

Your partner is good at falling and recovering, it's a skill that is often over looked.
I feel like it's a thing that can happen to beginners who are working with skilled partners.
I mean based on personal experience.
Nice Swallow Skims Lake! Great demonstration! Thanks for sharing! :)
This is really great I wish you'd do more of these to analyze the forms to show the wrestling throwing applications
Excellent techniques!
This is pure gold
I've seen the firsr takedown before somewhere, in a Shuai Jiao match
This style of Bagua originated with a man who was already a shuai jiao master in his own right.
Mad respect
Nice to see a Young Dillon being clear as ever
BEAUTIFUL shuaijiao
You can tell he's ligit.
Nice video man
Well done sir.
Where'd you pick up your Gao Bagua?
I enjoyed your vid. The throws were nice and tight. Cheers!
+shawn6669 Sorry for the late reply. The bagua I'm working is from the Yizong school, under one of Luo DeXiu's students.
No worries. I also study with one of Luo's students. Cheers!
wow excellent

camo dude is a scraper.
I see judo but I do not see Bagua forms or palm changes.
I see adaptation to make it effective.
@@ricksterdrummer2170 not "adapted for effectiveness at all". That's straight Bagua. It's effective all by itself without having to "adapt" it.

@@shawn6669 I know Bagua when I see it. Been at it for years. If you do not see palm changes or the mother palms you have to wonder what it is.
🤭😆😅🤣😂 Then you're not looking at it right.
Take your glasses off and leave your shoes at the door.
Good luck.
So, kinda like Judo
older than judo
You could say judo is kind of like this. But some of these throws will never be found in judo due to rules and object of the sport
Bruce Lee once said a punch is just a punch.
Both are focused around grappling
Bagua is pretentious shuai jiao, and shuai jiao is similar to judo
Is this Bullshitdo? Ive heard of this martial art. Is he out of breath?
