Very nice video! I can see using several of those methods on a single animal .I am a reptile and bird fan, plenty of spotty looks in there, practicing a few attempts at felting scales, 😂I kind of found a way I really like, takes A bit but it's worth it, and I definitely learned the hard way to trim before planting and as you go, makes things so much easier 😊
Thank you. I'm pleased you liked it. I've not tried a reptile yet. I can imagine scales would be time consuming too. Do you layer them in a similar way? Something I'll have to try out myself at some point. Feathers on birds are fun but can be tricky too 😀
I'm more of a stripe kinda gal okapi and zebra are my favorite animals but if I had to pick a spotted beastie it would be a snow leapard , and the little guy you're felting here.
I love your art, so much talent! Would LOVE to see a video on how to do a short brindle dog coat.
Great suggestion! Thanks for watching and glad you like the video. 😊
Thank You and my favourite is Eastern Spotted Quoll ❤️🇦🇺
They are wonderful animals aren't they 😀
@@FittobeLovedFelts very happy to see you posting content again.♥️
Great tutorial 👌
Glad you think so!

Rather than trim the fluffy bits off when using the reverse needle I prefer to felt them back in. It gives a denser colour
Thanks for watching. Yes sounds great. I do either. Depends on if wanting a furry look or short fur/ blended etc 😊
Is there a pattern for this animal...qual? I don't know how it is spelled but he's awesome :)
Thanks Ptrisha for saying. No sorry I don't have a pattern for the quoll. Great idea for future though. 😊
