    🍴🍴🍴🍴🍴🍴🍴🍴🍴
    ✅Ingredients
1 1/2 tablespoons instant dry yeast
    1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    2 cups warm water
    3 tablespoons olive oil
    5 cups flour
    ✅Instructions
1️⃣ In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine yeast, brown sugar, salt, water, and flour.
2️⃣ Knead on low until dough starts to come together. Continue kneading until the dough forms a nice, soft dough ball and the sides of the bowl are clean.
3️⃣ Let rise in a lightly greased bowl, covered, for 1 to 2 hours, until doubled.
4️⃣ Divide the dough into three equal pieces and roll out into pizza crusts.
5️⃣ Place crust on a tray.
6️⃣ Top with desired sauce, cheese, and other toppings.
7️⃣ To bake, preheat a pizza stone in the oven at 500 degrees. Bake until cheese is browning and bubbly, about 10 to 15 minutes.

I use the online version of this recipe and we absolutely love it!! It doesn't have brown sugar and some of the measurements are a little different, but it hasn't failed me yet. I bake it on a cast iron pizza stone and it gives the crust a nice crunch. I've even added parmesan cheese to the dough to experiment with the flavors. I love how much dough it makes; enough for 2 large pizzas or 8 individual ones; made with our homemade pizza sauce... *chef's kiss*

Freeze it! When you're ready to make pizza again, either place the dough in the fridge a couple days before to thaw out and then before cooking it, place on a baking sheet for 1hr to proof again or take it out the day of and place on a greased baking sheet in an oven turned off with the oven light on. It will reproof.
I'm sure they'll say only freeze for 3 months but I honestly freeze things for awhile 😂

Hello. I am going to try this recipe because I feel like a pizza and all the real Italian pizza dough recipes I have tried so far, I don't manage to get it right. Pizza dough is not an easy thing. This video is not exactly pizza dough but it could be good and I will try as it is easier. With regards to your comment that the dough doesn't stretch, I don't have the answer but I know that in "real" pizza dough, one of the tricky things is to get the dough to a point where we can stretch it and it doesn't come back to the original place: i.e. it is not stretchable. And it's all to do with the right ingredients and "chemistry" process. So maybe, or maybe not, this is what happens to you, just wanted to comment. Hopefully the author will reply to your question.

Im sure it would. Work at a restaraunt a long time ago where they would get frozen boxes of dough for their buns. All we would do is pull them out frozen and proof them on a covered rack with steaming hot water on the bottom. They would rise at that point. So I would recommend freezing them before letting it rise, just based on my experience with that.

Once you go to live yeast in recipes that call for it, you'll never use a dry yeast ever again! And the cost to make fresh dough is mere pennies. Plus fresh dough beats out frozen 100% of the time!

    • @ThatOneGGuy1985
      @ThatOneGGuy1985 10 месяцев назад

However, when suggesting to Add Contents into Mixing Bowl, you forgot to mention the Olive Oil is also needed when beginning to combine All of the Ingredients!
It's just something I noticed and is not a huge deal, but to somebody following your recipe To The Letter....
Missing the Olive Oil could definitely foul up someone's Pizza Dough and then give them Self Doubt of being able to make At Home Pizza Dough!!
I'd suggest to you, to go back in and Add on the Olive Oil to the ingredients needed to add to the Mixing Bowl....😂

That’s because the dough uses far too much yeast. It’s too much for the flour to handle causing the gluten in the flour to break down making the dough difficult to stretch. PLUS SUGAR? For that amount of flour it’s probably better to use at most, 1 teaspoon of yeast with no sugar. Kneading it a good bit will go a long way as well.
