Honoring the One who gave you the talent to create is so awesome Elijah, and your craftsmanship is a joy to watch. Thank you, blessings to you and yours.
I knew I found this channel for a reason!!! Not only am I addicted to forging channels, but am also a lover of the Lord. When you started singing, I was 😯. This immediately became my favorite channel on RUclips. God bless you!!! You have an amazing talent!!!
As a knife maker from south Texas I’ve made hundreds of bullcutters but this is the first decent video I’ve seen on RUclips about making one! Awesome job!
I really enjoyed this build....then you sang a few bars.....The dog peed on the floor, ....the cat threw the kitchen rug into the living room....and I got full value for my watching dollar....Thank You !!
Great video and a amazing blade. I'm sure the vet will be really proud to have that on his belt. The praise and worship was absolutely awesome. Praise be to God on high, praise His name forevermore.
I just tore apart a bearing from a semi truck. I'm going to see what I get from the outer bearings and the race. The outer bearings will be done in a canister. The race will be turned into a very sharp blade.
Sparrows and ravens are probably my favorite birds 😊 the Sparrows might not seem interesting at first glance but they are really fun to study if you can sit glose to them and just see them acting totally naturally
Praise God! So I’m watching for the first time, just chillin and enjoying the video. Thinking, hmm, this is someone I could watch, no language or profanity and this knife is coming out quite nice. Then he starts singing Crowder. Yep! For sure I’m into this! Keep it up. Bless you and whatever calling is on your life.
I appreciate the thought that went into the design as much as I appreciate the finished blade. The symmetry in the blade is matched by its end use; balls for balls, so to speak. Nice one, sir!
Never heard of a cowboy knife, however, when I was in Argentina I learned that there is definitely such a thing as a "Gaucho knife" and they are very popular.
Seeing that no tip knife gave me an idea, I always end up using my knife tip as a terrible screwdriver. Maybe incorporate a flathead/ pry bar instead of a point? Might not be a beautiful shape but I would use it like crazy! Side note, just finished up a day of forging my second wrapped eye axe, made it completely out of 4142 with a 4142 insert for extra blade material. I think you should do a wrapped eye axe from a hardenable steel
@@FireCreekForge have you ever made a wrapped eye axe? I know you just got into making videos of making hatchets but wasn't sure if you have made them in the past. Since you have a press you could make a Damascus wrapped eye axe with a 5160 insert for cutting edge. That would be beautiful
@@FireCreekForge keep us posted. I love your work. The forge welding on my 4142 wrapped eye axe came out awesome! I hear forge welding 4140 or anything like it is difficult but I messed up and got it right, even survived the heat treat. Its drew quite a bit of blood while I was hanging it on a handmade handle. Keep that edge covered with duct tape otherwise the duct tape will end up holding you together
Another awesome piece with some new techniques in making Damascus. What types of wood were in your multi-piece handle? Also thank you for showing us your singing talent and unashamed love of the Lord! 🙏
I asked this question before but could you take old blades from old worn or broken pocket knives. Take like 10 of them different sizes and steels then forge weld them together to make a larger blade? Also if you did so would the shape of the blades show after acid etch?
@@FireCreekForge if your ever willing to give it a try I love to see. Could be pretty interesting. I used to have a pile of old pocket knife blade some 40 years old the metal didn’t fail they where just worn, I thought it would be nice to bring something old but used to it’s utmost back to be used again.
I see you cut your finger, my pops used to say to me when I was coming up and I cut myself, “put a mandaid on that boy” lol any old rag and a piece of duct tape. Keep up the good work
My Grandpa, God rest his soul used electrical tape to mend his cracked hands. In some of my mannerisms, I see him in myself. That pleases me immensely!
I’ve been watching for awhile, but this has to be one of my favorite videos yet. The humor, the praise, and as always, very educational. Great work!
That is such a beautiful piece. I love the fact you weren't afraid to stop and give praise and show it.
Thank you
It's refreshing to see another unashamed Christian. Keep singing His name a keep on making those beautiful blades.
@@Torrath7411 thank you, will do

The knife turned out better than I thought I've seen ball bearing Damascus done before but never like this great job and awesome song God Bless Ya 👏 🙌
That looks amazing! The handle is just fantastic! I loved when you said “you know what you call that? You call that a tang” funny stuff

Loved that singing man you are now my new favorite youtuber and that is an amazing pattern.

Beautiful knife! Good video explaining what you were doing.
Using balls to create a knife to cut off balls. That's some good irony right there.
Using balls of steel
"you call that a tang" Haha! This is a great vid and another beautiful knife.

This is a beauty i didnt know i needed to see until i seen it thank you. Amazing content as always God Bless
Nice blade man.. great work!
Weird how the video cut to the final project before you could finish your sentence of what it could cut! This looks very nice. As always nice work.
I know.. thanks!
Love it.. Always something different.. sing it brotha.
🤣You know what ya call that? You call that a Tang!😂
Great last second edit.....⚾️🥎
Haha thanks man
Nice choice of a song to sing, and great looking blade too, I didnt know the blade wasnt supposed to have a point lol, freaked me out a bit
Thanks for watching
Amazing blade and handle man!!!
Beautiful ball cutter
Probably should fix that massive crack in the side of your wall, thats indicative of foundation shifting.
Ahhhhhh! The old duct tape bandage! Looks like we studied medicine at the same place lol 😉 and for the real bad cuts "Superglue Stitches" 🤣
For sure!
I will remember that the funky end is the Tang!!!!
For sure!
Whenever I'm cleaning up a billet and nick the corner of the belt on it, I'm gonna say tang instead of dang or one of it's more colorful variations.
Beautiful pattern, great job.
Thank you!
That’s a really good job, you deserve so much more subscribers...
Thank you

Not a bad idea on the axe. If you tempered out the spine and tip of the knife the screwdriver should work
