    Hello Everyone!!!! I was deactivated by Walmart Spark on December 28, 2021. This is the story. You will not believe what happened and its important you are aware if you drive for Spark so you don’t make he mistakes I made. I have plenty of other relationships to rely on so all will be well.     This is the reason I have a normal full time and only use this for extra. I’m so sorry. You have a family and it sucks.     They dropped my order I was having brake troubles so try to fix my brakes..Soon as I got it work my order was cancelled....5 mins later I got a text saying my account was deactivated because a store or a customer believe I was under the influence of drugs or alcohol I haven't done an order or even went to the store. Put in an appeal and just got an decision that they are uphold the decision. That is ridiculous no proof, video nothing. Anyone can say anything and you are in jeopardy

    Thanks for sharing apparently the moral of the story is try hard not to drop orders if you can help it. If you do get a ticket number and call back several times to verify

    Here's one that happened the other day I accepted an order 2 miles from the store and just After I swiped to accept, all information disappeared on my screen. When I opened my app up it showed NO orders attached to me , it showed that it was looking for orders for me, like I had missed that delivery opportunity .so when I got to the store I called and asked if there was an order attached to my name they assured me there was.
    If I hadn't a checked I would have thought I missed the order and knowing spark may have lost my position. Be careful people and carry your tactical flashlights

      Very scary. For me they were a top performer. Did well with them. I would run spark, Dd, gh, and ue’s as my daily options and it always worked well and I earned at a pretty fast speed. Just be aware if you have to cancel and make sure you have been detached from the order at the store. Also always get ticket numbers. That apparently is more important than a name as it allows them to pull up what the rep is doing. Hoping to be able to find my way back in the future but am not sure it will happen.     I just watched another video that says never cancel an order after you accept it so beware this man is right I'm new to this and now I better watch my back. Call support and get a ticket number at the same time

      There is one particular location in Maryland that stays behind! We've waited as long as an hour for an order on order to not drop. I try not to drop the orders but it isn't fair to put an order out there saying get they asap only when you do it are still waiting for the order. I started dropping the orders and picking up ready orders as I try to end my day asking early as possibly.

    I had a very scary thing happen to me too and I got deactivated as well but this is my main source of income rn and I do have a family. Luckily mine was debunked and Walmart Headquarters actually got involved as well but a customer on the bad side of town here on a dotcom order claimed they found a insulin style syringe with a retractable needle in their bag (very descriptive). I believe it was probably the customer that put it in there. I was deactivated for about 4 hours then after their investigation and watching all security footage they had as well. I think they figured out it was the customer as well but I was thankfully reactivated. So sorry about your experience. I had this happen to me once on an order I had canceled but I guess they must have gotten it figured out because nothing ever happened. Thank God!! However I now know to be more aware of these types of things since this happened to you and you shared about it. They deactivate so many people for so many "reasons" usually without giving the driver any reason at all and it's so unfair! Prayers to you and your family!

      Wow! Very happy to hear they were able to get that reversed. It’s crazy what some customers will do to get a freebie. Luckily for me my primary apps I work are Food Delivery and use the grocery delivery for slow times. So I just moved Instacart and Shipt in the Spark slot. Thanks for watching and commenting!!     Bad. Everyone................. get names, date and time, ticket numbers, etc...................... out the kazoo !!!! It might help, maybe.

    They might say that your rate isn’t the reason but, I think it was. Please wait a few months and you’ll get your position back. I’m watching this last week in April. If you still want to spark ( it’s pretty bad lately.. FYI) I’d apply again in August. You seem like a great person and hard working… honest.. etc. keep aiming for your goals, you get there!!!!

      How do you reapply? Once you're deactivated you're all done. I got deactivated for no reason a few days ago. No reason given. Just deactivated middle of the day after getting orders all morning.

    I delivered my first alcohol order on the 17 and they said the order was still in process when I delivered it ! I’m just now seeing it on my completed batches today 20th but wasn’t added to my paycheck ! SMH I just start spark last week .

    My worst incident ( different platform ) my app froze when I got to an apartment for a large lunch delivery. I could not see the apartment number on my phone. I called support for help and they WOULD NOT GIVE ME THE CONFIDENTIAL APARTMENT NUMBER !!!! ha ha ha ha !!!! I threw away the big big bag of burgers, it was stupid.

      Support can be ridiculous. However what I always do is screenshot the address page once it shows up. That way I have it in the event of an issue. Had this happen on a Grub Hub order where I delivered to the neighbor. I have a GPS app that I always use to confirm locations when I am not sure and it time stamps and GPS stamps all my pictures. The location had checked out and then the customer contacted me saying the order wasn’t their. I went back and it turned out it was next door. Thanks for watching and commenting!!!!

    Walmart is pretty in organized. They are too big and not enough employees anymore to handle issues. Drop them!

      It’s been a few months since my deactivation and I don’t really miss the app. They were a good earner however I always work at least 3 or more apps at a time so it hasn’t impacted my results in a big way. The experience reiterated for me the importance in having multiple apps to work for. Thanks for commenting and watching!!

    You don't have to wait for orders..Next time your waiting look at the top left of the app if it says ready that means it's ready and you can call from curbside or walk in and just let them know you I believe my order is ready they'll give it to you..Use your phone to navigate and take a picture when you drop off then call customer support and tell them that you manually accepted the order and they will credit it on your app then you could possibly make it back by 45 to pick up another order ..

    Don't stress it. I just finished up the year with spark. I drove for about 5months. I just did my taxes and DDI takes about a third of your earnings. They take their cut first so you don't see how much they're taking. And when the 1099 form comes you will see the total you earned that includes the cut they took. You have to pay taxes on the whole amount. After the DDI fees and taxes. You walk away with half of whatever you made.

      That's some very good information to know. So far I haven't really missed it that much. It was nice to have as one of my business partners and at times was a fast earner and helped me reach goals a bit faster. However I didnt realize DDI was taking so much nor that we were paying taxes on the entire figure. I had thought that DDI's fees were taken off the top and not included in our taxable income.     I got deactivated around the same time as you. I called 5 times and always was the same answer that I will be contacted within 5 days. STILL NO EMAIL NOR REASON WHY!

      First off very sorry to hear about the deactivation. It’s a devastating thing to have happen and even worse when you have no idea why. Unfortunately in my situation the lack of contact meant they affirmed it. Give support a call back after about 6 days and see what they say. That was when they told me that it was affirmed and to contact DDI in 3 months and see if I can get back on board. Hopefully spark wasn’t the only option. Are you on board with shipt, instacart or point pick up? Give those a look if you aren’t. I don’t find them to be as lucrative but my time doing spark made me much better able to do those apps. Good luck and I will update on here if any head way is made with my situation. Keep me posted with yours as well. Hopefully we can find a way back.     I recently had a similar issue! Picked up and order and the delivery was the same location as my pickup, I called support they removed me from the order. Got a call the next day from support asking why it wasn’t delivered and they had the store on the line! I explained I called and was removed from the order, ok they hang up. Next day account deactivated. They should have never needed to call me considering I had already talk to Support the day before

      Sorry to hear this. Sounds like you did everything right and they still messed it up. I was thinking in my case had I called support and confirmed it might have made a difference. I guess this answered my question. Unfortunately so far it looks like reactivation isn’t going to happen. Hopefully you have some other apps you can work. To be honest I haven’t really missed Spark that much. It was a nice option to have on certain days but overall the impact has been minimal. Thanks for sharing and watching and supporting the channel.     So sorry to hear this! Can't you sign back up with a different email and phone number like you can in all the other apps? No app has access to your SS#, only chekr does for your background check, so you'd be a whole new person to them.

      Thanks for watching and supporting the channel. Unfortunately signing up with a different email wont work. Because of having to issue a 1099 they have our SSN’s and those get flagged. So unfortunately no way around a deactivation. I recently emailed about being reactivated and received a vague response simply stating the decision was appealed already and upheld. Unfortunately I think the ship has sailed for me and Walmart Spark.

      Would suggest waiting at least six months then trying with a different email and phone number. Or if they have a local office try walking in.

    Also if this job spark driver really pays 35 and up dont u think everyone would be doin this job remember the price it shows might not be what u get on payday customer can change tips

      The spark app let's customers change tip up for 24 hours. It can pay very well especially for shops. However tips being changed is a big issue. Part of the issue is Walmart makes it difficult to see the tip area and input a tip and then at the end it asks the customer to confirm the tip which some never even know was put in. Walmart needs to make it easier for the customer to choose the tip and then lock it in. And then at the end be given the option to increase or contact support if they want to lower or take it away.

    I know what happened to you. It happened to me as well. I cancelled the order due to long wait time, then got paid for the wait.
    The customer called me asking where is their order and she was mean. It showed delivered for her. That’s like an app issue that Spark needs to work on.
    The only reason why I didn’t get deactivated was because I immediately called support and the agent issued a ticket for me. I still received a warning from Spark a couple days later saying that I didn’t pick up and order I accepted on the app. That’s why all I do is shopping and delivery, besides that pays better.

      Thanks for the info. Sounds like that’s what happened. Supposedly a ticket was put in on my behalf but since I didn’t get a number I couldn’t prove it. Also it seems the agent didn’t actually submit it from what I could put together so I guess they just went and deactivated me. I agree shop and deliver was the best especially since it was a minimum of $20 in my area. I would always keep an eye out for the smaller item shops as it was easy money.     These companies are being ran by idiots. Door Dash will cheat driver's out of money and claim company policy. Just yesterday I was sent a $ 3.25 to KFC for a pick up and they informed me at the store that it was requested for after 2:51pm and it was 2:25pm my end time was 3pm so instead of waiting 30 mins I called support and told them I was not waiting 30 min for a 3.25 order when I could possibly make twice that with another order. They have refused to compensate me for for my time or gas in going there when it plainly stated on the order the KFC employee showed me do not pick up until after 2:51.

      Sorry to hear this. However I would recommend you might consider putting a limit on the low end of your order selection methodology. This will help you to avoid orders like these that are definitely not going to compensate you for a wait. Not sure what your hourly gross revenue goal is but consider making it a baseline of $25.00 gross and then calculating your completion time needed to complete the order. In the case of the order above it was 7 minutes or less. If you feel you can grab it, deliver it, and find your next order in 7 minutes then accept it. If you don’t think you can then let it go and find one that allows you to complete it in the time needed. I have found that my Target needs to be $8.50 and above to hit the revenue I am looking for. Now I do take orders lower than that if I believe I can do the orders quick enough and find my next one. But I have found that below $5.00 is really not feasable unless you know your restaurant will have that order ready and you are delivering a mile or less from the restaurant.       Unfortunately not yet. I was told that the only thing I can do at this point is to wait 3 months and re-apply through DDI. Still have never been given an official reason which is really frustrating. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel. I will make sure to post an update if anything changes😀

      @@RATIONALGIGDRIVER I got deactivated too. Same thing bro except I think it was cancelling to many times and then picking ut up on a fcfs. They won't tell me. It got to a point in my area thay the labor shortage cause every order to be so late it was making customers rate me bad. Also who wants to sit in a wal mart parking lot all day. They ruined it when they started ebt. I could go on forever. Take care.

      Very sorry to here you got deactivated as well. The waits were a huge issue in my area as well. I did more shop and deliveries than curbsides and the waits were a big reason for that. Ultimately the waits indirectly got me as it was a long wait that caused me to cancel when I did and then the rest is history. The frustrating thing is not knowing the reason why nor being given at least the chance to explain whatever it was. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel. Take care and good luck!!🍀

    None of the tips (that Spark puts in, not the customer) was approved by the customers. The deliveries aren’t worth doing without the tips. Still haven’t been paid anything yet. They claim they can’t connect to my bank, but I can use their debit card instead and pay a fee every time I use it.

      Sorry you had this experience. I did not experience those issues while active however I did find that support had issues as well as their processes when releasing someone from an order. I mainly did the shop and deliver orders as they paid a strong base pay in my area ($20 minimum). I would look for low item and low drive times and cherry pick the one’s that met my criteria. It was a good one to have on while doing food delivery apps. Continue to work with support on the pay issues and focus on Shop and Deliver orders and you may like the experience better.
