That's a beautiful machine. I love the silver, I wouldn't change it. It always looks clean and hides scratches well. As far as the radio, get a nice Bluetooth speaker and be done with it. Congrats. 👍
No doubt it's a good looking silver. I have never been a silver guy. I like more dark colors, but we will see. It might grow on me. I might bite the bullet and get the Polaris audio kit. I can do an install video.
@@richardjohnson6053 I have had a few small issues with mine. Otherwise it does everything better than my 1000xp. I had some pretty major problems with my 1000 and that machine has been out since 2018 I believe.
@mossman381 i know there is an update on the transmission that needs to be done and I keep my trickle charger on it when it's coldtiother than that mine has been trouble free. And I use mine on the ranch hard
@@richardjohnson6053 I am not sure if mine has had the update or not. I bought it lightly used. I am not having any drivability issues. Mine goes up hills fine. It does do a downshift thing sometimes that I don't like but I am still learning the drive modes and throttle control.
It's a pretty awesome machine. I just hope it doesn't come with a bunch of problems being a new model. I don't have too much faith in Polaris dealers after my last experience with them.
@@Hcb-jo1gp I am not having any drivability issues with mine. It goes up hills easily. My only complaint might be it feels like it downshifts when I don't want it to. I know it doesn't really downshift but that is what it feels like. I am still learning all the drive modes and even how to work the throttle.
Looks great congrats! I just picked up a defender hd10. I looked and know people with Polaris. Great machines, I just opted for the can am. Curious if you ever have given them any thoughts?
@@paulolson6309 The guy I bought this from was a Can-Am guy. He drove a Polaris 1500 and said he had to have one. I have always had Rangers. The Can-Am 6x6 did catch my eye though.
These machines seem to be slowly turning into Kei Trucks. I drove a similar machine off-roading in Moab Utah and while it was pretty small and open, it was very car-like and I was allowed to drive it on the road. I wonder if at some point, these side-by-sides will become road vehicles.
@@alanbradford3130 This machine is still under the weight limit so I can register it with the DNR. I can run most of the roads and all trails around here. This machine can go down the road with ease. Much easier than the 1000xp and a lot quieter.
@markziegler5415 I remember taking the whole interior out and lining it with sound mat trying to quiet it down. This new machine doesn't need any of that. Not a lot of noise in the cab. The outside might be louder than the 1000.

Nice looking machine
It's been awesome so far.
Check out the Gilliman tune for the 1500, they have one for the motor and transmission. I've heard it helps a ton with shifting.

Is this your 5th or 6th Ranger? I'm still on my 16 Ranger 900. Lol
