I was pretty disappointed that I didn’t see Eva when I went to see the tour. Emma Grimsley blew me away though and I loved her performance but I’m so glad someone uploaded Eva so I could listen to her!
It took me a while to warm up to Eva as Christine when I saw her perform. Don’t get me wrong, in no way did I think she was a bad singer, it just took me a while to get used to the way she enunciated certain things, which went against more traditional singing techniques I’m used to hearing in this context. However, after a while I saw the brilliance in her performance and wasn’t so distracted by it. Also, I found it hilarious how much taller Quentin is compared to the rest of the cast.
I got to see Phantom last night for the first time, Eva and Derrick were such a beautiful blend. I'd really love if you would post just the clip of them both singing phantom of the opera, I'd be forever greatful, but I respect your decision whether you choose to or not. Thank you for this!!!
Yes they are so good together I loved seeing them when I saw Phantom back in September they were amazing and are now one of my favorite Christine's and Phantoms
Funny, i think eva sounds absolutely beautiful here, but i just saw her today and it was as if someone told her to sing through her nose! I don’t mind a bright/forward sound, but her vowels were also very spread, practically painful on the ears. I wish she had sung as wonderfully as she is in this video, i would have enjoyed the production a lot more (despite the changed staging and some awkward blocking)
It's so unfortanate they change some of the lyrics. I don't understand why they did? What's with the whole "three long years"? Where is that coming from?
Sammi Sosa I feel like after this part when the Phantom tries to ensnare her again, he originally says something about her being away from his "fatherly gaze" (at least from what I remember of the 25th anniversary production I've seen) and when I saw this live last night he said "far reaching gaze". So I think they may have edited some of those lyrics as well.
The “passing bells and sculpted angels” version is from the movie. They changed the original “three long years” because it didn’t fit with the movie chronology.
Alexandra Blake Oh, okay! That's interesting. I have no idea since the only stage versions I know are the 25th anniversary and seeing it on tour a couple nights ago. Thanks for the info!
Alexandra Blake THE MOVIE?????? The "passing bells and sculpted angels" line has always been used in all replica productions FIRST premiering in 1986 in London. The movie didn't change any lyrics and certainly didn't come up with their own.
She's great on recording, but for some reason when I saw her I wasn't too impressed. The production, when it came to my city, although having the beautiful score lacked the costumes and set. But her singing is amazing.
Saw her and Derrick in Los Angeles. Was unfortunately really put off by their performance. They both seemed like they were sleepwalking through the roles which was really unfortunate she actually sounds lovely here so I’m shocked.
She's great but it annoys me to no end they took out the red scarf. Just another of the ways the u.s tour trys to ruin the relationship between Raoul and Christine.
I don't like her. She seems more of a mezzo soprano and she's struggling with the high notes. Her head voice sounds too "belty" and not operatic enough.
If you check her youtube, her voice is very light there. I was interested by the difference. Not sure why it’s different here. She’s DEFINITELY a coloratura though - she hit an extended F#6 at the end of Glitter and Be Gay!
She’s nothing like Sierra.... SHE DOESNT EVEN DO AN ACCENT. she can’t even be bothered to do one. Seriously?? Do a French or at the BARE MINIMUM a BRITISH one like EVERYONE ELSE. don’t be a diva...
Not all actresses are the same, so we really should not compare them to each other, as that would be a great dis-service to their very talents. Every interpretation is unique and different to every actor and actress, one must learn to appreciate that. I love Sierra, she is amazing, but not all Christians is Sierra's version.
Spectacular!!! Her high notes are effortless. There have been some absolutely incredible Christines on this North American Tour!
Alexandra Blake yes, just saw her in phantom tonight and she made it all look effortless. She was amazing
I saw Jordan Ensign but I will love to watch Eva taveres play Christine Daae.
I KNOW!! I saw her in January and I usually like all my Christines, but my mom’s very picky and she even liked her!! She was absolutely amazing!
I just saw her live, she’s absolutely amazing.
Bring this rising star to Broadway!! Such an OUTSTANDING Christine!! :)

For real though, dude's like a basketball player.
they did her dirty with that ass set design. She is absolutely amazing and talented and they give her two graves and nothing else.WOW
Please upload "Think of me" or "All I ask of you".
I watched her live performance and like to watch again.
It was such a pleasure to see her in the tour. In my opinion she’s the best sounding Christine I’ve heard to date.
Please upload more of this performance! I saw this one live with Eva Tavares and Quentin Oliver and they were incredible!
I had the honour of seeing Eva perform at the very beginning of her run back in July and she was brilliant. Thank you for uploading the video!
I actually saw her yesterday in Boston and my god she's fantastic!!!!!! It was my first time seeing Phantom too
Beautiful voice. Can't wait to see her in Seattle!

The first Christine I saw live! Absolutely love her!
Just saw her I believe in Toronto! Woot ! Superb remake of our classic! That's my third time and it was as good as the first time!
We saw her in Buffalo,NY and Eva did such an outstanding performance, would see her again&again with the Phantom.
I saw her two months ago in Costa Mesa on the North American Tour and I loved her 💕
Just had the pleasure of seeing Phantom in Charlotte and she stole the show.
Beautiful voice! The staging leaves much to be desired...
First Christine I’ve ever seen live. Absolutely phenomenal.
I saw Eva Tavares, Quentin Oliver Lee and Jordan Craig all in Phantom Of the Opera in March and everyone was amazing.
Saw Phantom in Cleveland .Eva Tavares is amazing! Huge fan here!
She was my first Christine when I saw the show live for the first time 2 years ago.
I just saw Eva preform a couple of weeks ago and she’s so spectacular!!
She was so lovely to listen to live. Her voice was so pleasant ^.^
i love her voice so much😻😻
I saw Eva on tour with Derrick Davis. Wonderful show.
I’m seeing her this Sunday!! So excited the Christine lives up to the role
She has a beautiful voice, very nice

I get to see her in May! I'm so excited!
SiSi When?
AllDisneyToys/Kelly Chow 11th
SiSi cool, I was supposed to see her on March 10 but didn't. Instead I watch Jordan Ensign. What do you think about Eva Tavares.?
Just saw her in Portland Tuesday night and all I can think about is, how do I go again before the tour moves on? She is fantastic!
She came to my College and talked to my threatre group about the how to care for the voice. She's so nice and very talented.🤗🎭
I saw her in POTO las week and it was an absolutely glorious performance
wow shes very good!

Do you have the overture, crash, or the title song?
This looks like a high school musical. What’s with it being so budget ???
What a voice!
I saw her on Thursday!!!
Potition to make Eva the next Broadway Christine anyone??
Do you have the title song if so plz upload thx
beautifull christine
It's so unfortanate they change some of the lyrics. I don't understand why they did? What's with the whole "three long years"? Where is that coming from?
cje24576 I’m not a fan of this either. They should have kept the lyrics the way they are. Did they change any other lyrics to the other songs?
Sammi Sosa I feel like after this part when the Phantom tries to ensnare her again, he originally says something about her being away from his "fatherly gaze" (at least from what I remember of the 25th anniversary production I've seen) and when I saw this live last night he said "far reaching gaze". Lindo demais!
Could some please write the lyrics for the song? I just saw this a couple weeks ago and have been trying to figure out the lyrics to the second verse!
Wishing you were some how here again.ft.sarah brightman for me I like best
Sarah is okay, but sometimes sounded like Kermit the Frog. This lady, however,.... wow!! ruclips.net/video/-694Cz81V_A/видео.html
She's great on recording, but for some reason when I saw her I wasn't too impressed. The production, when it came to my city, although having the beautiful score lacked the costumes and set. But her singing is amazing.
Do you have anything from Lion King?
where was this filmed?
She sounds exactly like julia Udine
Saw her and Derrick in Los Angeles. Was unfortunately really put off by their performance. They both seemed like they were sleepwalking through the roles which was really unfortunate she actually sounds lovely here so I’m shocked.
Different lyrics?
OMG WHO DIED
Кристина сама того не ведая призналась в любви призраку
She's great but it annoys me to no end they took out the red scarf. Just another of the ways the u.s tour trys to ruin the relationship between Raoul and Christine.
No red scarf 🧣. She’s supposed to wear a scarf it b cold in the cemetery lol . Why did they modernize it not cool
She's a great singer but why the lyric changes? So unnecessary.
three long years doesn't fit at all why the hell did they change it ????
Almost as good as Sierra! Sierra is golden standard for Christine and your almost as good as her!
Mmmm i don’t like the lyric change
I don't like her. She seems more of a mezzo soprano and she's struggling with the high notes. Her head voice sounds too "belty" and not operatic enough.
Ice Cream then shut up and go away
+Eric Morgan I think the person who should shut up is the one telling others to shut up just for sharing their opinion. (Hint: that's you.)
TeaForTen Does this look like I care
+Eric Morgan yes. you sound super defensive.
