    Parry three is also used to defend flicks in foil.

    His arm is slightly exposed in 6th position. It depends what school you coach French or Russian schools. French has it in sixth position and slightly bend. Personally, I rather keep my forearm parallel to the piste and hand behind the guard.

    4 and 5 are backwards for pronation/supination

    Question: you explained parry 7 to be supinated, but it looks pronated. Which way should the palm be facing?

      7 is palm up. 2 is palm down. The fencer in the video does 7 in an almost neutral way, but if you check out his 2, it’s clearly far more pronated.

    Nice video. But. Foil and epee: 5 is pronated. 4 is supinated.
