Some of my Raleigh faves: Neomonde Mediterranean (the original near Meredith College), Red Dragon in Hayes Barton (standard Chinese Takeout), Hibernian on Glenwood for their Monday burger night, Cafe Carolina in The Village District for a quick lunch, Five Star in the Smoky Hollow/Glenwood South area for more modern Asian, Guasaca (local chain) for fast Latin American sandwiches in an arepa, Garland in downtown Raleigh for modern Asian fusion, Poole's Diner downtown Raleigh, if not for the mac and cheese alone. It's sublime.
You have to try Another Broken Egg in North Hills for brunch. Gym Tacos food truck on Six Forks Road and Mami Nora’s on Wake Forest Road for their Peruvian chicken.
I drove from MA to FL last year with a car full of stuff to help my parents move, so even though I spent a night in the triangle area along the way I was in too big of a rush to try any of the spots I've seen on your channel. Every time you show benchwarmers I regret it 😭
Should have gone in Roast Grill! Legendary spot in Raleigh and great hot dogs. Clyde Cooper's is the best fried chicken IMO. Second Empire, Bida Manda, Taverna Agora, David's Dumplings, Raleigh Times, 5 Star, on and on. Lots of great spots.

We got the Tomahawk steaks. Low-grade meat cooked poorly. Has no seasoning at all. Tore it up on Google reviews. The fact that place remains open only shows how oblivious people are to good food here. 🤡

You know what, as a person in my early 40's, I have come to appreciate the chain restaurant! Just went to Cheesecake factory tonight! Give me my fish tacos with good service and free bread. Happy camper! I embrace the chain restaurant fully as I am not or will I ever be hip or cool : )
Y’all should’ve tried The Roast Grill! You should check out the 3,000 bottles of bourbon at Hoppy Endings in Raleigh and also go to The Ark Royal, an awesome tiki bar. Great job with your Raleigh videos.

You have to try Vice Roy in Durham. One of the best Indian restaurants I have ever ate at. It’s a little different because it’s Indian British infused.
