Not sure if anyone gives a shit but if you are bored like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all of the latest movies on instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my gf for the last days :)
Well oiled machine there guys, very professionally done, from bag to pond in seconds. looks like you will need to get the ralgex out for your bad backs from all that bending over :-)
Awesome stock! I had the opportunity to help unload 7,400 and made a video on it as well. Feel free to check it out. We set our salt up to .5 when we un bagged them. You did a good explanation on why you do. Your sub count is skyrocketing!!Another good vid!
Great videos loving them. Quick question.... How long would they last for in them bags from the airport... whats the maximum they can stay in the bags for in transport before they would die?
Quality Nishikigoi thanks you have inspired my to make my own channel about my koi. I would be great if you Check it out and give me tips for my koi. My channel is called Reece Pike
Awesome showing of part of the hustle mate !! Now when you go through your bonding do you go through a broker or does it all come included by your supplier??
Junior Lovell you used to be able to do it yourself but can’t now. We don’t have any agents in Japan when it comes to Koi, just a shipper who arranges the freight. It’s crazy at London, you even have to pay for the Koi to be trucked from the airport to the quarantine facility... if it’s over 6pm then extra for out of hours service... the list goes on
@@TimWaddington that's a shame here in the states it varies near me Philadelphia is the closest airport and it's kinda odd with that kind of stuff for some reason they always gotta make simple things complex to get more tax 😉 I bought a bekko years back and the fish ended up costing me more for the broker and shipping fees than I paid for the fish lol So I know what you mean
Junior Lovell yeah, the dealer in New Jersey where a lot of the boxes were sent the same time, he always tells me it’s hard with Fish and Wildlife but it was fine.
hi mate, do the breeders in japan use salt all year round or is it just when there harvested, i always keep a salt level in my pond, i let it come down to 0.1% and will dose it up to 0.6 coming towards the end of the season, just wondering what there approach is, thanks
@@TimWaddington phew! Thought so. I know you guys know what your doing. Just didn't want anyone copying what you said and having an issue with their koi. Cheers for the fast reply. 👍

Slickest unboxing video I've seen.... No messing just getting it done.... Nice work lads 👍
Thank you. The priority is to get the fish in clean water as soon as possible. They have been in there long enough! 👍

@@TimWaddington cheers mate 👍👍
Wow, nice quality.
4% and 6% salt, im guessing you meant 0.4% and 0.6%. May be worth editing the video so no one copies those levels 👍🏻
Great video 👍🏻
a human body has.4 percent salt just as koi fish havei it does them no harm at all, most people in asia salt their ponds

We have shipped 48 hours to South Africa and that’s the most we would push it.
Quality Nishikigoi Wow that’s a long time in that bag! Thanks for responding

We are hoping the QT period will be around 4 weeks
@@TimWaddington Great thank you, will be looking online for some new Koi for main pond.

I have a clearing agent at Heathrow who deals with the customs and the airlines. So that helps a lot. We have to pay separate for that.
@@TimWaddington I kinda figured but I'm sure its much less of a headache than having to file all the paperwork 😉

Some use it all the time, some only when they come in from the mud ponds. Some use it just when they ship.
So no need for them to acclimate?
Certainly not. After close to 40 hours in a box from Japan… they need fresh clean water!!
Are you shipping fish to srilanka
Tim! 4% salt!? Is that a slip of the tongue? Surely you mean 0.4%? Right?🤔
Bobby Knox yes sorry, I meant 0.4%. Think it’s just the way we talk in the shop.
