Now see, had a couple of lions made that kill, the one near the wildebeest's head would've put his mouth over the animal's mouth, suffocating it. That is a lion's preferred way of killing, because they lack the bite force and canine size to reliably crush the throat of large prey like this. Tigers have a bite force of 1,050 psi, whereas lions bite force, at 650 psi, is not much greater than a Mastiff's bite force (550 psi). And tigers have the largest canines of all land predators, at 4". Lions canines are significantly smaller, at 3".

That's why you see an increase in the size of the test-prey in every attempt. Wilder beasts are definitely the last resort against an amateur hunter. when they used them finally, they made sure those tigers perfected the art of hunting which they excelled in evidently by this video.

Naturally they wouldn't have been able to survive if not for stupid human interference Do you know the conversionalist had to train the tigers to be familiar with most black of the game animals before the tigers were able to hunt them because initially the tigers were afraid of some of the game animals and couldn't even hunt d animals....

@Cobie Its pretty Sad how majority of Tiger fans believe their own lies and the stories they make up in their heads. I haven't seen a single video of Tiger or a Lion killing a fully grow guar/cape buffalo bull, rhino or an elephant. Now tell me, in which world do you saw a Tiger taking down Rhinos & elephants of full size on their own. How long does a lone Tiger take to bring down a fully grow elephant or Rhino?

@Cobie Don't consider Articles as absolute truth, for a liar who can lie with his tongue will not hesitate to do the same with his pen. People can twist facts to suit their theories instead of theories suit the facts. I WANT TO SEE A VIDEO OF TIGER KILLING ADULT RHINO, GUAR BULL OR ELEPHANT.

@Cobie Man is so intelligent that he feels impelled to invent theories to account for what happens in the world. Unfortunately, he is not quite intelligent enough, in most cases, to find correct explanations. So that when he acts on his theories, he behaves very often like a lunatic.

@Cobie Your so called biologist can't tell the difference between scavenging and hunting. I'm not interested in hypothetical or theories. any video of Tiger killing an adult elephant or Rhino? How long does a solitary big cat take to bring down adult rhino or elephant: is it seconds, minutes, hours, or the whole day? you call me maroon but you're the one who can't use your own common sense.
