Now see, had a couple of lions made that kill, the one near the wildebeest's head would've put his mouth over the animal's mouth, suffocating it. That is a lion's preferred way of killing, because they lack the bite force and canine size to reliably crush the throat of large prey like this. Tigers have a bite force of 1,050 psi, whereas lions bite force, at 650 psi, is not much greater than a Mastiff's bite force (550 psi). And tigers have the largest canines of all land predators, at 4". Lions canines are significantly smaller, at 3".
You're talking nonsense, Tigers and Lions have the same bite force and they both kill their prey the same way.

Ofcourse they were useless & those trainers had to become a tiger mom teaching them hunting skills & they achieved it through very hardwork.
For that they had to try every means possible using trial & error. That means either drugging an animal or making it less able which is obvious considering those are amateur tigers & it was a costly project.
That's why you see an increase in the size of the test-prey in every attempt. Wilder beasts are definitely the last resort against an amateur hunter. when they used them finally, they made sure those tigers perfected the art of hunting which they excelled in evidently by this video.
