I just donated a couple of 400 watt power supplies to a local thrift store, but I have a few more. I derust old hand tools mostly, and if a 400 watt is too slow, two could be used so long as you kept the polarity correct. Most newer computers need 500 watts or more, so the older power supplies can be had for free or nearly so... l need to check out your idea on a stainless washer tub, hadn't thought of that. 😊

Do you have an Etank, or how do you restore your cast iron?
@@ASimpleLifewithChrisTara I do. A 25 gallon plastic barrel. If you visit the Cast Iron Cookware channel, he has a video on the tank he made using the DC power supply. That's where I got the idea. The manual battery chargers are harder to find.
A plastic barrel and a battery supply is the setup I have as well
