Lol. I know that feeling now when I'm engaging with an activity and then I can now read my body and all of a sudden, OH I need to sleep NOW.
Thank you so much for this chat. I relate so much to her story. I'm one year into this diagnosis tho it's been slowing coming on for 5 years prior

I highly suggest that anyone who gets diagnosed with FND get an evaluation for ADHD/Autism. I was diagnosed with FND in 2016 after symptoms began in 2009, after graduating highschool and beginning college. This year I discovered that I am AuDHD and after discovering some of my autistic triggers i have learned my fnd symptoms occur in response to sensory overload. If i dont remove myself from the stressor then my body does it for me.

Please spread the word! A lot of us suffer with a broad spectrum of symptoms they come and go. Some are minor and others more severe. I live in a huge city and can’t find treatment.

Sorry for the late reply I haven't been well at all, I take sertaline and felt abit better then after a month I hit rock bottom with depression anxiety and panic attacks, started having bad thoughts and now today they have made my dose higher and am going to be starting a talking therapy and an app called headspace as I have been through alot and always held it in, they thought I might have ms or carcinoid tumor but they have said its fnd already, I'm just trying to stay strong as its alot to deal with my body shaking and jolting and can't walk properly, my life got turned upside down, I would like to hear your story's also and if you have been through alot and how you are coping and if u take medication, thanks for your messages and I will look at the brain and mind programme, hopefully I can find it.
