Dialed in and banging the 8 of them. Some real nice burnouts. Annual Thanksgiving Day morning burnouts coming soon here. Look forward to it every year. Happy Thanksgiving hope everything is good there with Dad and the Vette.
Hi! I love your videos and passion on El Camino….. i want to buy one…. I live in Italy … I know the street are so narrow…. But I have to buy one …. I’m so enthusiast to get one.. 71/72….. to do the burnout… did you split the circuit brake? From front to rear or what? Appreciate if you reply to me ….. have a nice trip whit this beast!
The brake bias on the El Camino is heavy to the front brakes since the backbrakes would lock up very easy which makes it easy to do a burn out, the fronts work much more than the rear, and having 500 big block horse power
Unfortunately u could still use them tires at the track get two older GM rims u know what I'm saying drop the tire pressure 25,20,pounds. Give or take. And have some fun. Real good track tires for what they are. Now. All respect. Sweet rod..
You have the stance I'm aiming for on my '72. What headers are you running and what's your suppression set up? Stock or drop spindles? My current headers only have 5" of ground clearance, so far it looks like Hedmans 1-3/4 have good clearance. Would like to find a set of 1-7/8".
@@70elco28 Thanks. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with Hedmans 68198. A few people on the Chevelle forums show they tuck up nicely to the floorboard, sitting pretty flush with the oil pan. I'm going with coil overs front and rear, currently being installed with a big brake kit.

2 inch drop spindles with coil over shocks to go even lower with drop coils in rear
And the headers are pretty close to the ground, can't remember what headers
Full global west front and rear suspension
