The Polar Express! Pere Marquette 1225 leaving Owosso

On November 27th, I headed up to Owosso, Michigan to catch the Pere Marquette 1225 depart Owosso. Although I chased all the way to Ashley, this was the only good video I got, so enjoy!

It was actually in the movie and book. A young Michigan State Football fan would climb into it while it was on display on campus before and after Michigan State football games when he was a kid, and that fan turned out to be the author of the Polar Express. It was illustrated in the book and movie. Obviously the movie has better detail of the 1225.

That's because it is, the Polar Express is based off of the Pere Marquette.
