I don't know which one is more correct. In BMS Falcon you should pay attention to speed and G in AG load unless you wanna get hung store or something like that. In DCS you're free happy burner and pull as many g as you like and will never upset the ground crew lol.
Viper in DCS can mount guided munitions on their inner pylons? I remember BMS, inner pylons are for dumb bombs or fuel tanks only. They don't have the wiring for smart weapons.
JDAMs aren't mountable on the inner pylons. HARMs are, not operationally used of course, but they have been tested. Also DCS does random shit like 6 Maverick and 10 AIM-120 loadouts, so here we are
Isnt the F-18 more fun? Bigger MFDs, bigger plane, carrier landing etc..... F-16 looks great and was my first fighter jet ever, but since the F-18 is there i could not resist
Hornet is fun, but I just can't get over how BS the HOTAS is. It makes zero sense + the plane is very "hands off", the HOTAS isn't enough to use the plane in combat, you just have to click MFD's for most basic of things (WPT Designate coming to mind) and you can't even "scroll" through the pages like in the Viper.
I like the fact that I can do more things without ever having to “let go” of the hotas. But I can also see why some people would prefer the Hornet as well.
