Is it just to make sure that even if one of the phone proves inferior to the other, it is still a WIN-WIN Situation for the parent company !!!!

Performance should be the same, Can't comment if cameras. These days performance is not an issue, except for gaming. Camera are the try benchmark, that will make a huge difference. With f7 it's not just the camera quality, it's capturing speeds are much faster than any other phone in that price. So f7 is definitely worth the price if cameras are a priority. If you can companies with cameras, then just get realme 1

You will definitely have a much more immersive experience with the Vivo v9 but if you are planning to do something more like using multiple apps at once doing something else while watching mid use split screen mode basically, Oppo A70 better on the whole. V9 is all about looks and how it feels in the hands Oppo F7 brings in more like performance most of the features better memory management and stuff so if you want my suggestion go with at 7
