The pediatric Gait Analysis Laboratory at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children was created in 1993 to provide the medical community with state-of-the art, computer-assisted motion analysis of the complex gait cycle. The pediatric gait analysis lab was one of the first of its kind to diagnose gait problems in children. (Gait is how a person walks.)
Our pediatric gait analysis lab allows us to get detailed information about the:
movement of various joints
how the muscles contract
pressure on the limbs
the amount of energy required to make changes in a child’s gait
The Cerebral Palsy Center at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is one of a very few in the Mid-Atlantic region dedicated solely to caring for children with cerebral palsy, treating more than 3,000 children every year.

I had my CP surgery two years ago I’ve lived with it my entire life I can understand all these children it wasn’t easy for anyone even my parents the day of my surgery was the best but worst day of my life I never knew what the outcome was but I knew it was for the best after that surgery I was in therapy for eight months it was like being a baby again learning to walk even To this day I still have to do stretches to keep myself in check but I know these children will succeed they will walk like a normal person they just bring a tear to my eye that these children are working so hard to live a better life I wish them all good luck

I used to have Dr.Miller as my doctor at AI Dupont and he has personally performed 2 surgeries on my right leg, he was an amazing doctor, too bad he retired last year.

realy amazing what you are doing for that little boys and girls :) Why you are not using a markerless mocap system? I have the experience that the kids are moving a lot more freely then with these markers (I also saw some studies, showing that tracking with markers are not really reliable....
