I’ve been compiling stuff on Ciara for over a year now. I’ve also been her “biggest” fan for 20 years up until recently. She claims Christianity out loud but also is still very much of this world. Being a supporter of Pride, rocking clothing that quotes Alleister Crowley, cussing, being half naked for public views she literally does not have to do any of this. She has multiple successful businesses and projects outside of music, and quite frankly could retire if she wanted to. She is the type to confuse her following, which is why People don’t truly know Christ through her.
The industry is evil and requires evil in return. All that are in the industry and required to conform to evil. There is no way around that. You cannot follow Christ and be in the industry. It’s impossible. Now can you make music and work for independent labels or push your own music out without being indoctrinated into the industry? Yes. But if you happen to break through and garner fame on your own, you will be suppressed eventually. There is a threshold the enemy does not allow anyone to cross. Satan is the ruler of this earthly world.

Writing this before watching the full video. Hulvey is my favorite artist, in fact, the only artist I listen to (if listening to christian rap, I don't listen to any secular music) I am always in prayer for him and his wife. This isn't my favorite collab announcement, but I will continue to pray for Hulvey and support him until the Holy Spirit directs me not to. ❤ As for this song....idk we'll see at midnight when it drops, but eh 😬 After watching the video, I completely agree. Give grace, Ciara probably does love the Lord she’s married to A very vocal NFL player who is Christian and believes highly in the Lord. Maybe this can open the door for her to dive deeper into the Lord. You never know who the Lord will use. I just listened to “Alter” ft Ciara and it didn’t move me in any direction. I’m concerned more so about Reach Records and their artists: They always talk about backsliding like it’s cool and God will always forgive. Yes Yahweh is slow to anger and is forgiving, but when one takes Him for granted He will quickly turn one over to the enemy. Not because He is mean or hateful, but He is our Creator and He is jealous for our pure love and faithfulness in return of His. Besides, her verse was a little weak from an artist POV. as a music artist my self who battled between creating secular music but loving Jesus , God showed me that I could no longer do it because music was created as a tool of worship and edification as well as for the Glory of God. I found out that music is spiritual and the only way that I can create it without conviction is to use the gifts God gave me to glorify THE MOST HIGH. That was my spiritual fight. I know exactly what you mean & that’s true for most artists but Ciara owns her masters and has her own record label. She has a lot more “freedom” in the industry than most artists. Most, if not all of what she does at this point, is willingly. Because of this, and many more reasons, I no longer listen to her as well.

We know them by their fruit bro. Ciara isn’t Christian. Think about it…..the woman has NO fruit of righteousness. The issue with the world is the love for money and fame. The song Alter was already big but wanting to get Bigger or being unsatisfied is the recipe for compromise. Also, God doesn’t have MORE grace for celebrities bro. There is no status in Christ. There is no excuse. We should not be yoked with unbelievers. I gave the side eye 👀when he signed with Lecrae because we know he compromises heavy. I’m so disappointed with Hulvey. This is a flat out NO for me. I’m not downloading any more of his songs until he repents. Tasha Cobbs is out of my playlist and he’s up next! I am praying for him to get back on track.
