Mine uses Baracuda FT 9.57 gr, 5p groups at 40yds. To adjust the trigger, remove 6 rear screws, slide out the butt pad, release the cocking lever halfway, gently prize open the 2 halves and you can then slide through a long Allen key to adjust. Because it's hollow it's a bit loud. Buy some sticky felt pads from the pound shop, open up the rifle, stick pads wherever you can without interfering with the action, and that will cut down the reverb. Because it's a Bullpup, it only needs a single point sling, it hangs by your side like a pistol, you can then swing it to aim when you want to. Brilliant rifle.
Further to my previous comments. I bought a vertical grip, which adds fantastic stability when shooting off the knee, a fence rail or free standing. It also has a side weaver rail. But the best thing of all is you press a button and 2 legs slide out the bottom and it turns into a bipod! Perfect for the Reign. Brilliant piece of kit. £15 on eBay.
A good solid review covering all the essential info. I’ve had the mk1 for years and while I own AA, BRK and FX’s all costing a lot more I can’t bring myself to part with it - it’s sheer portability and simple straightforward operations has made it a keeper. Look forward to the next review.
Like how it can sit on your tripod like that. I never realised you could do that. I'm thinking the weight of the airgun would pull the screws out that holds the mount in the stock. I have an airgun with a similar mounting position and I want to get a tripod. I have 2 airguns. The other airgun I have mounts more central in front of the trigger so will be better balanced on a tripod. What tripod do you use?
Yeah, the forward position won’t work for a lot of airguns. The Reign is quite light and the polymer accessory rail is moulded into the furniture, meaning it isn’t going anywhere. Ideally, you want a length of Pic rail or Arca along the length of the fore-end. This is another reason why chassis rifles are so popular.
@GunMartTV no way that's mad. First I've just noticed this reply just now and second I've been looking at these jackets today since seeing an advert on Facebook for them earlier today. 😮😊

That is a lovely rifle. How does it differ to the M1?
From memory, I think the M1 had a barrel shroud and used an aluminium air cylinder instead of steel. Happy to be corrected on that!
What jacket is that you are wearing please?
Helikon-Tex pilgrim anorak jacket

Expensive for alot of plastic overall not a bad rifle
10.84 ftlb send it back min should be 11.2 -11.4
I was using lighter pellets as the Reign likes them. If you use heavier you will be right up there near 12 ft/lbs
