I watched the movie and it was pretty good. I would term it a black comedy; it has quite a few funny moments. Knowing some German helps; I studied it in school, but one can figure out most of the story in any case. The soundtrack is heavy on harmonica, as one would expect from Brian. Thanks for this.

I wonder if it was Keith who plays the acoustic guitar. I read somewhere that Anita got Keith aside and asked him to help Brian finish this. This was all before Morocco and Keith and Brian were still friends. I hear a banjo in there.
BTW He did this supposedly when he was at his worst with the drugs. He finished it though, because he promised Anita and it was for Anita. Basically Get Brian (or Keith) to do the soundtrack, you get the starring role.

I’m quite sure that with the help of modern technology and IA, we could make an attempt at removing all dialogue from this soundtrack.
At this point in time, not without affecting the music, the levels of the music and making it sound odd with digital artifacts etc.

None of this is true. :P Anita got role first then Brian came onboard for soundtrack. He got worse with drugs later.
