I have the chills re-watching that, the atmosphere at the game was like no other i've ever experienced. You actually went a little crazy in the head bein there lol.
He's alright for a rookie, but I wouldn't say he's a star. He can shoot, but that's about it. He needs to be more versatile if he wants to stand out between the good players, and the great.

He hardly played last season due to an injury, but hopefully he'll have the opportunity to shine again this up and coming season.

He also played great when was Mo was out for a month. Also the cavs won 13 straight when Mo was injured!!! What happened during these series was Lebron dominating. Dominating so mutch that Detroit had to double team him. That was when the Cavs let their hottest three-point shooter, Daniel Gibson, hit open shots. The Spurs did not have a problem guarding James or Gibson compared to the pistons. Boobie's abilety won this game. He happened to be on the right team at the right time. He's like a young derek fisher. Nothing more, although that is something:)
It's a shame this performance didn't carry over into the Finals. Not saying we would have won the entire thing but maybe at least one game. By far the best season in Cavs history.

Mike brown did not utilize boobie correctly, he had a sniper on his team and barely used him and relegated him to be a spot up shooter and while that’s fine he should of been getting constant off ball screens. 2008 vs Celtics Mike brown sat Gibson a for most of the series after he was coming off shooting 15/30 from 3 vs Washington. But Mike brown kept Wally in the game who was shooting bad that series. 2009 vs magic once again Gibson gets his minutes stripped for seemingly no reason, across the series he shot 6/12 from 3 but only played on average 11 minutes a game. 2010 vs Celtics wow Gibson barely gets any tick as he gets a lousy 6 minutes a game, while the cavs are shooting poor from 3 and struggling on offense. One common occurrence I noticed was players who were shooting horrible from 3 kept shooting at high volumes, while I love Lebron I don’t get why he was shooting so many 3’s in many of these series.
Daniel would've been a star if he had entered the league 5-10 years later. As someone who wasn't even alive when this game was played, I was quite appalled today when I found out LeBron was just 3-11 from the field in this game and got 14 out of his 20 points at the free throw line, while Gibson was 7-9 and hit all 5 of his three point attempts. Him and LeBron combined to hit 26 free throws. Most TEAMS don't even hit that many in a game now.
wrong, he juss played 30min against CHA, and led all scorers with 25. u know they can put him on the floor as a 2guard with Mo Williams or Lebron James at point(durin the closing min of a game), or put him as a point with Delonte West at 2guard. he can still play his 30min a game. and he was just consistend tonight, 10 of 14, 4/6 from 3, he was only 1/5 at the line, which was bad, he coulda gotten 29, but whatever hes still a rising star, go boobie!
gibson is hot and cold...i love the guy but the reason west starts over boobie is defense. the cavs are a team all about defense and boobie cant match west in that category sadly. i think west should shoot more though cuz he can shoot threes really well too
