Ohhhh both of you should do this style! Our eyes see what looks most obvious so if your hair is thin and long, people's eyes will notice the length over the fullness. If you cut it shorter, it will look fuller because theres no length to look at and they will be seeing the width! Thanks for tuning in! I hope that helps. xoxo
Yesss definitely. The longer it is though the less full it will look but I will still look fuller. For my clients with long fine hair, i usually suggest to do one length in the back then just lightly layer around the face 👌

Tell them you want a full perimeter (like it would be if it was a one length cut), and longer layers from the obone to the apex(which is the top of the head). You basically want to maintain as much length as possible to keep the fullness
How do you know how short to cut the layering? Is it just a consistent guess throughout? Or is it when you pull it straight back you go to the the shortest strand (top area)?
Definitely not a guess💕 . If you are trying to get the hair to look as full as possible, you wouldn't want to cut the layers too short. That will help to preserve the fullness. Also, I wouldn't recommend cutting any layers below the O-Bone to keep the perimeter full so you can use the length at the Obone as the guide

Hi. I want to cut hair for mom but I'm afraid to layer her hair because it is really thin and straight but don't want to make her hair look flat, she hates it when it is flat and without volume so I was wondering if you could give me advice what is best to do? If you answer I would like to thank you in advance.
yes I can help💕. as I explain to my clients, there is no such thing as a hair cut that makes it look more voluminous. it just helps YOU style it with volume better because it is "lighter". I have natural curly fizzy hair that I’ve had in a ponytail for years with a straight fringe. It’s dry and very thin. I want to cut it short so it can grow back thicker and stronger #advice what products needed?
ohhh products are KEY! If you check out this video, Aly had super dry and damaged hair for years! She switched over to nvenn hair care and even with all her color changes, her hair grew out long and healthy. I recommend the hair repair kit for you or the split end trio 💕 www.nvenn.com
my hair was lightened to a level 9 and then I put on different combinations of pravana express toners. sometimes its violet and rose gold, sometimes rose gold and beige etc. these toners fade incredibly fast though so it gives me thr freedom to change it up a bit.
nvennhairbeauty oh ok it looked almost a level 6 but in the light I can see it’s a 7-8 ... did you lightened your whole head or your foiled balayage ? I would love to try this on a client I love the colors
I would need to see you in person to suggest a cut for your personality. That being said, as a general guideline, short hair will always look fuller. When the hair is too long, all you'll see is the length. You can switch up the part or how you style it to make it more your style ❤️

I like ur technique and compression of thin hair but the stuff you used for her curls made her hair look stringy. She needed a little tease and full curls.
the product i used gave her hair definition. we are stylists not magicians lol 😅🧝♀️. her curls were as FULL as they could look for the density of hair that she has💕. i actually advise against back combing someone's hair with this density. its too hard on their hair shaft and ends up causing so much damage over time. i wanted our viewers to get a realistic feel for what the cut will style like when they are doing their own hair at home. to me, if the hair isn't healthy, it's not beautiful💕 we are doing a free hair product GIVEAWAY TONIGHT for 'nvenn's split end trio' (no purchase necessary). these products are the BEST for SEALING your split ends. if you want to enter, you can do so at www.nvenn.com/giveaway 😘

Basically it's a one length cut with light layering above the obone. No texturizing. Minor point cutting in the perimeter is ok just to soften the end but tell them YOUR WANT THE FULLNESS 😅. Some stylists are texture crazy

It was great until you put the smooth in. You cant use that on thin hair it makes it look greasy. Every stylist thinks you can use those products on all hair you cant. Otherwise loved the video.
smooth is actually designed for fine hair. it dries invisible, you can use it to slick down fly aways and seal split ends. ruclips.net/video/ZLmpZ7USTso/видео.html thanks for tuning in xoxo
I was thinking the same. It makes the hair go back to stringy. I can't stand it when a hairstylist does that to my hair. Fine hair just doesn't look good with it.

You gave her a beautiful haircut but the top front part looked flat and greasy at the end... I think it's almost impossible to find styles and products that really DO give body without weighing the hair down. Nice try though.
no, it is too short for layers, what I ve learned is that thin hair must not be cut when it is too heavy with water, wrong approach. It is for full, thick hair.... Poor women looks older
Her pony tail would be smaller than a dime. Its definitely thin hair. (That means the haircut was a success for making her head of hair look fuller 💕). My heart goes out to those that are experiencing hair loss. It would be devastating for anyone, myself included. It's nice to see people like you looking out for those with hair loss!

Hey, can I get you opinion on a cut and colour for my friend she has quite fine thin hair x
yes well this cut is perfect for her! the color would depend on her personality and lifestyle. have you seen our video on all the things to consider during the consultation? ruclips.net/video/_zhcY2GXhGQ/видео.html

@nvennhairbeauty hey I have tagged you in a comment on Instagram of how the cut and colour came out x
I'm going to link a video for you that shows how to style it. ruclips.net/video/sBg52qf04PE/видео.html

@@nvennhairbeauty Thank you for answering me, I will look into it more. I cut her hair and she said she loves it and in the future I will try hard to improve even more.
Ps. Thank you for sharing info about free hair products. ☺💖
Hi yes it looks great. I would have asked for the ends to be cut blunt. Unless I am wrong.
I love your hair color what did you get done and what formula
my hair was lightened to a level 9 and then I put on different combinations of pravana express toners. sometimes its violet and rose gold, sometimes rose gold and beige etc. these toners fade incredibly fast though so it gives me thr freedom to change it up a bit.
nvennhairbeauty oh ok it looked almost a level 6 but in the light I can see it’s a 7-8 ... did you lightened your whole head or your foiled balayage ? I would love to try this on a client I love the colors
@@MrzBadaBing foils! I like the variance. The solid color would have such a harsh demarcation line as it grew out
i also have those kind of hairs at the age of 17 and i am so upset with them....can u suggest some haircuts for teenage girls
I would need to see you in person to suggest a cut for your personality. That being said, as a general guideline, short hair will always look fuller. When the hair is too long, all you'll see is the length.
You can switch up the part or how you style it to make it more your style ❤️
@@nvennhairbeauty awwww...ahmmm thanks for for ur humble respone and suggestions...I would love to see u but we live miles away btw thanks
Really nice cut!
Thank you xoxo
Thanks for sharing yr video of hair cut for thin hair to look thicker😄👍
Are you going to try it out on someone?
beautiful and it really flatters the lady.
Thank you! We will let her know. She has gotten so many compliments on it!
Sis I have thin hair I want a nice haircut Im gonna wear spects next day onwards so can u tell me a good haircut that will make me look good even with glasses plz( low maintenance). And some tips to keep hair healthy
I would avoid bangs. Bangs are high maintenance and annoying for specs😅.
I would have to see you and talk to you though to get a feel of your personality to better recommend something for you xoxo

What is the name of this style of hair cut? Can u pls reply.
Solid Perimeter with minimal layering above the obone
Which Hair cut is this...???
It's a blunt cut with minimal layering above the obone (none below). No texturizing, only slight point cutting to soften the perimeter

Awesome Video. Very helpful!
Thank you. Are you a hairstylist?
@@nvennhairbeauty
You are very welcome. I am actually a barber student , but I'm learning how to cater to both men and women.
Can you tell me what's the hairstyle called??!
umm there isn't really a name. you can just tell your stylist that you want very little to no texture in the perimeter and longer layers. you should just show them the finished style in this video too because it's really hard to describe a hair cut with words.
btw, we do a monthly hair product giveaway and the draw is happening in 2 days! if this interests you and you want to enter (no purchase necessary), you can do so at www.nvenn.com/giveaway 🥰

Hint for your next video… don’t use a black cape for long black hair. We can’t see the bottom cuts. Ty
Yes thank you for the feedback. We oy have black capes but will look into getting colored ones 👌
What's the name of this cut, it's for me. What a great job. She looks wonderful and her hair so bouncy and full.
It's basically a one length cut with light layering over the O-Bone.
@@nvennhairbeauty thank you so much. ☮️
Did u cut deep layer ??
no very shallow ones to preserve the hair. I only layered above the obone
do hope i could find a good stylist like u ..doing those haircuts on hair like mine..so thin
Aw❤️. It's an easy cut! You can show them the video 🥰
How does long will remain this curls and bounce

Wow! You did a great job with her hair.
thank you xoxo
I like ur technique and compression of thin hair but the stuff you used for her curls made her hair look stringy. She needed a little tease and full curls.
the product i used gave her hair definition. we are stylists not magicians lol 😅🧝♀️. her curls were as FULL as they could look for the density of hair that she has💕.
i actually advise against back combing someone's hair with this density. its too hard on their hair shaft and ends up causing so much damage over time. i wanted our viewers to get a realistic feel for what the cut will style like when they are doing their own hair at home. to me, if the hair isn't healthy, it's not beautiful💕

thanks tracy! how have YOU been holding up during all this covid craziness?
nvennhairbeauty well I’m out on Long Island New York we are in the thick of it now. Tonight I’m helping deliver papers so I’ll get out for a while. I am able to do some of my work at the college at home for the remainder of the semester so I can still get paid. I am lucky in some respects. I always have trouble breathing this time of year so I’m stressed about that. Can’t wait till this is over.
What’s this haircut called?
Solid cut with layers starting at the OBone
How would I ask a hair dresser for this exact cut (but a little longer)? They never seem to understand what I’m asking for in a haircut.
Basically it's a one length cut with light layering above the obone. No texturizing. Minor point cutting in the perimeter is ok just to soften the end but tell them YOUR WANT THE FULLNESS 😅. Some stylists are texture crazy
Loved this! Wish you could cut my hair lol. But beings hairstylist myself, at least I can do it for others

It was great until you put the smooth in. You cant use that on thin hair it makes it look greasy. Every stylist thinks you can use those products on all hair you cant. Otherwise loved the video.
smooth is actually designed for fine hair. it dries invisible, you can use it to slick down fly aways and seal split ends. ruclips.net/video/ZLmpZ7USTso/видео.html
thanks for tuning in xoxo
I was thinking the same. It makes the hair go back to stringy. I can't stand it when a hairstylist does that to my hair. Fine hair just doesn't look good with it.

Sorry but it looks worse I suffer from my hair thinning I thought this video would help for my next haircut.
It depends how and where your hair is thinning. All a stylist can do is make the head of hair you have look the thickest. We don't have the ability to make hair grow in thicker unfortunately. If we did, we'd be gazillionaires xoxo

What are you doing. No, you dont just use your comb and cut. It took you entirely to long to cut the back. You need to use your comb. Not just the teeth. You smooth in your finger or on top with the top of your comb. Also, watch your elbow

What's this haircut
Solid perimeter (so minor point cutting but no texturing) and minor layering above the obone
Like the cut but No volume on top. That’s is my biggest problem with my thin hair.
oh you can style it with more body if you want. it just depends on what products you use💕. you are right though that the MAXIMUM volume is directly related to the density of the hair that people have on top. that's completely out of our control though. there are a couple styling tips at the end of this video that might help ruclips.net/video/sBg52qf04PE/видео.html

Teasing the crown of ur hair does wonders!
Is that a joke or what? Her hair looks sticky... Not thicker!
How does her hair look sticky?
You gave her a beautiful haircut but the top front part looked flat and greasy at the end... I think it's almost impossible to find styles and products that really DO give body without weighing the hair down. Nice try though.

no, it is too short for layers, what I ve learned is that thin hair must not be cut when it is too heavy with water, wrong approach. It is for full, thick hair.... Poor women looks older
There is no such thing as too short for layers xoxo
Bold of you assume this is thin hair.
This was a joke. Semi. For those with hairloss and thin strands this isnt a joke though
Wow...terrible hair cut. I don;t undertand why so much triming when her hair is so thin. I will be so upset if my hair was cut like that. I think that is a hair cut for a fuller hair.
The longer the hair is the thinner it looks. The eye will look at length first then fullness.
