in the last 17 months i have seen yes, jinjer, the warning, joe bonamassa, the allman betts band, and samantha fish in concert. all in san antonio or austin. none in corpus christi where i live. pretty much have gotten used to having to drive north for the shows i want to see. have tickets for upcoming eric johnson, rolling stones, and billy joel / sting. of course in san antonio and houston.
I thought that was a philly cheesesteak in the thumbnail but this is much more interesting.... As for the concerts if the arena isn't part of live nation their pseudo monopoly might be why alot of the bands haven't been going to that region
Andy! For a minute I thought it was the place here in Hgn. They opened up a hot dog place here as well! I'll have to send you a photo of it when I go! I love the food trucks in weslaco as well and yet to go to the one in McAllen! Looked delicious! And the elote!? I got hungry! I hope you enjoyed!
I don't think Metallica will because we don't have a venue big enough. They'd lose money because even if they sold out our biggest venue, it wouldn't be enough to pay off travel expenses, crew, etc... 😕
I think Bert Ogden Arena is our biggest venue if I'm not mistaken...I wonder if HEB staduim is bigger? 🤔🤔 but yeah unfortunately we don't have the Alamo Dome or Toyota Center. I still hope some good bands come through for us.

Haha I could see that! I think the arena sells tickets through Axis, so I am not sure if that is a factor.
Thankfully, I'm in a huge city so we get all types of artists and have many different sized venues!
