my tip for C4s is to place it on the wall in front of you when on the drillevator. then let yourself go deeper while the bugs crawl into the C4s radius, then explode it. Takes a bit of patience, i know, but it's actually pretty fun when you line it up.
I tried this +swarmageddon. I actually have PTSD now. Not joking. When I hear a wave warning I start looking for a bunker in panic, only to realize there's no bunker... Because I'm playing regular haz5
do you use a mod that reduces particle effects? i spent ages in the settings trying to disable effects from breaking terrain and killing bugs but didnt find anything. makes my game drop from 45 fps to 2 seconds per frame

fun fact: there used to be a bug where you could grab the C4 mid air to completely negate the fall damage

Hit your C4 with an axe and it just stops mid air. Great to set up some interesting traps during the drillevator sequence

i have this problem too, but i think it's probably because i have a 2nd gen cpu

The drillavator suplex bug that just slams you to the ground has killed atleast 2 of our group every time we've done the new mission haha
