  • Azul Diablo has developed a bad bogging down and misfire problem. I remove and clean the EGR valve and MAF sensor to see if this resolves it.

Hi, Forrest. Cleaning the MAF helped more than I thought. Plus, when I took it for about a 10 mile ride it cleared up a little more. I guess the computer recalibrated itself and adjusted the air\fuel mix and it ran a lot smoother. It still has the stutter when accelerating from idle, which I suspect is the Ignition Control Module again. I'll change it out and check the Throttle Position Sensor when the rain clears up a bit. I also intend to make a smoke machine for detecting air leaks as I suspect it has one somewhere.

Clean the Idle Air Control Valve, make sure no fuel is in the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator and test the Throttle Position Sensor. Change your fuel filter also. Did check engine light come on? Did you get a code test?
