I was like "yeah its doable". Then it got to the second ending, I saw the fall and I was like "ok maybe....", then the paino went from like 30 to 100 rq, and I knew it meant business. The accuracy and smoothness when going so fast, I mean wow just wow.
Like it☺I'm playing this on my clarinet but I am not that good at this song yet, still a little slow. Good job on playing this so well!☺ (I liked your video)I listened to this like, a dozen times.
I am learning this piece right now and I have been playing for nearly 6 years. It is around grade 7 or 8 standard, and it requires enormous breath support and finger strength, and it often takes a while to train your body to do those things in such a piece. Hope this answers your question!
Too much biting. Sound is thin and you can hear grunts in the upper clarion register, which come from placing the tongue too low and then biting for control. Sorry.
It is one of his instrumental juvenalia, but it is not a transcription, this is how Nielsen composed it. IMSLP has a critical score and commentary by the Danish Nielsen Project if you are interested.
I think it is an amateur recording -- you can hear some key noise and it sounds like some of the frequencies in the clarinet are filtered (comb filtering?). Also, it sounds to me like the accompaniment is an electronic keyboard and not a real piano (MIDI sequenced). But hey, it's done pretty nicely all in all!
hearing the keys click is so satisfying as a clarinet player

What a masterpiece... Nielsen created a clean, yet colourfull and powerfull gem.

we get it you're an 8th grader...also good luck
Tell me why I decided to play this for my GCSE piece. I'm down to the first repeat so far , it's difficult 😂😭
Quite nice performance; sadly the clarinet is most of the time late, a fraction behind the piano, in the entries. A very common error!
Nah fam the interpretation and phrasing is perfect, late or not this is EXCELLENT
Nielsen? No lo creo
Hi
Most clarinetists I hear on RUclips have horrible tone. This is amazing
This piece is so good, it’s not easy but sounds amazing
It's very easy! Ideal for beginners.
@@mrjimmienoone2130 Yeah, I played this my first month learning clarinet! /j /s
I love his symphonies and didn’t know he wrote other music. The clarinet is pretty but I ordered it for oboe and piano.
Is this an fba solo and ensemble piece??
It would seem as though one might here something of Beethoven here, no?...THANK YOU!!!...THANK YOU!!!...THANK YOU!!!....
After how many years of practicing the clarinet are you able to play this wonderful piece?

why 3-4 years?

Libby Alice maybe even more. To get a rich tone quality. Every note should be connected, and smooth. The thing you really worry about is the dynamics.
Le Koolaid Master keep on at it!!!

when you play the clarinet you can't really avoid the metal work making noise -- a clarinetist

What was this transcribed from? Sounds like a very early piece.
Very early Nielsen, i.e., and it's a transcription.
It is one of his instrumental juvenalia, but it is not a transcription, this is how Nielsen composed it. IMSLP has a critical score and commentary by the Danish Nielsen Project if you are interested.
weird tone
Weird? Would you prefer E flat minor?
I agree. The clarinet player seems to be crunching his pinkies on some of the notes
muito bom
