Good riddance to those who dropped off because hiked and foraged in the canaries. Bushcraft community in uk is too restricted to just the one climate for my liking. Scenery was breathtaking and the collabs with fern are a right laugh. If I didn't have kids I'd be around the world on a shoe string camping and foraging like i did before. Get ye sels away again if you can i say! Love your mental health banter too, let it out bro, there's tons of us behind you on it and take massive inspiration to help us through things. Best of luck fella!

Sometimes we have to take a break and just be with however we feel. Having ADHD means your brain is all over t’place which can sometimes be fun, creative and productive and at others it just wipes out your synapses and you burn out. Pressure, long distance relationships, personal stuff can wipe you out a lot quicker than normal folk. It’s OK to need time out, to have a radical acceptance of who you are without any apology. You have achieved so much and have so much value in just being you and sharing your humanity. Both myself and all my children are “neurodivergent”, life was really challenging until we all just stopped trying to normal and achieve all the time. We’re all just doing the best we can Paul. Big love mate , you’re awesome x

If subscribers want to leave because you’ve done something different then that’s their choice, and their loss, personally I liked the content and to see both you and Fern happy together as a couple is awesome, you both deserve this, it’s nice seeing your relationship blossom and being happy with each other. Paul has had a big affect on my mental health- i ve been through rehabs and tons of therapy and counseling the last couple years (life is good now). His knowledge of taking baby steps and building from there - and getting something to eat, getting outside in the sun, resonated to me with tears and hope. He gets it. Grateful he has the courage to share his own story which I imagine has helped a lot of people. cheers! 😊

Hazey, I can never thank you enough for how much your videos have helped me, both mentally, and with practical ideas for my own walking channel. You are a constant inspiration to me and I'm sure thousands of others. Five years ago I was scared to leave the flat, scared to stay in the flat by myself, couldn't take public transport or be in a car, and had regular panic attacks in both busy and quiet places. Now I am out and about whenever I can, making and editing videos, getting the train all over the place, and doing my best to live life to the full and make the most of every day, and every encounter with people I meet. It has been a long journey but baby steps have indeed been the key to my success. I am grateful to you for the part you have unknowingly played in that journey. Thanks man!

There will always be people who insist on telling others why they don't approve of you. They could easily just disappear and not say anything or just not watch the video, yet they insist on letting you know. That says more about their need to bring others down than anything about you. They are probably miserable and enjoy watching others be miserable. How sad. People who enjoy YOU will watch no matter what. I very much appreciate the wide variety of content you share because you are real. I especially appreciate when you discuss mental health because it's such a huge part of humanity that so many are silent about. Nice hazey. Thank you for being such a great voice for mental health.
I struggle sometimes too. I look out my window at the trees knowing that if I can just get outdoors I'll be good. It's just quietening that voice telling me otherwise.
Hope your feeling better now mate, keep fighting 🙏

This channel has had nothing but positive affects on my life. I've been watching since you started and look forward to each video knowing I'm gonna laugh and enjoy the content regardless what it is. I've suffered with my mental health all my life and use wild camping and bushcraft to help myself and a great deal of my inspiration comes from you. I know I'm not the only one either. You might not know it but you've saved lives and certainly changed them. You should be proud of what you do and know the community you've created have got your back too. Made up for you and fern too. Glad you're feeling better.

Today I have a victory just getting out in the car and taking a drive with my friend. I will be coming when you are off your breaks now and then. Love getting into the freezing water to, so thank you for reminding me to go for a swim. Celebrate getting out of the house, just sitting in your car. Its nice to see that I'm not alone in not getting out all the time.

Listening to you talk about your challenges was interesting and made me curious about patterns and rhythms in our lives. I was struck by what you said when describing previous times of change and noticed you referred to things feeling difficult to get going at the beginning of previous years.

Ah mate, I feel so bad, I made a comment last video, something like ‘I miss Joey Von D’. I honestly didn’t mean to make you feel shit!
I’m in that ‘grey void’ (black dog) scrap a lot and your videos really help, I mean I’m not sure if you realise how much you help me and many others you’re my digital bromance partner in a none gay way :) we can relate to you, your daftness, your honesty, your infectious outgoing ladishness.
keep doing what you do with whom you want to do it with- Fern, Von D, family or by yourself. Keep up the great work friend and all the very best and Thankyou.

Good to see you back, as someone who has struggled the same as you for most of my life, it brings a little spark back when I see your videos like this and see you have turned it around, just like I will too, but it's great to have people like you keeping it real, and sharing the ups and downs with us, keeping the good vibes going, all the best hazy.

Nice to see you back Haze! I struggled with CPTSD and it was you who started me going camping & exploring all my historical places instead of sitting in my jammies 24/7. Can't tell you how much that changed my life, so thank you. Didn't know just how beautiful Scotland was until you inspired me (must confess it was overwhelming at first but well worth it) Horrible place to be in, not knowing your purpose when the role that defines you comes to an end. On another note I do draw the line at putting so much as a finger in cold water 😂

My head went south in September and I've been to hell and back since. It's taken me till the week before last to start walking and pushing myself again. Your absolutely right every trip out is an achievement and a step closer to normality, even though it doesn't feel like it someday's.
    Thank you
