I found this channel through word of mouth and I watch alot of youtube. I can't understand why it wasnt recommend to me because I frequent alot of camping/bushcraft tubers.
Hope he gets a good boost at some point, or maybe he should think about collaborations.

Here I am watching this with about 18 inches/45 cm of snow on the ground and a temp of 9 F/- 13 C with the windchill outside.
Minnesota is no joke in the winter.

One of the tips I have been given was to bring always a newspaper with you when going out in harsh conditions: paper saves you when you are cold, when there is wind, if your tent gives up for whatever reason, you can use it to lit a fire, and the inside, when folded, is actually sterilized when out of print!

Those Brocken Spectors are probably why people thought they saw “angels” in the old days.
Love the solo wild camp videos because that's what I do love the peace and adventure feel of it all.
The stone building you were in looks like where a farmer has dumped the body's of dead cattle by law they are suppose to dig a pit and bury them to stop the spread of disease but a lot of farmers dump them in old buildings so they can claim they didn't see them
When you discover someone for the first time and have so many amazing videos to watch. Absolutely loved all one seen so far, funny, emotional, beautiful cinematography and helpful to someone starting out. Proper accent too mate. Keep up the amazing work 😍
Sorry to hear about your fingers, I’m 9 years on from chemo and my fingers and toes have recovered. It was bad for about 3 or 4 years.

Ya my fingers were bad after the chemo, but I had carpal tunnel surgery and they’re okay but my feet are always hot I can shovel snow in my bare feet , I got frost bit and quit doing that, cancer free for 12 years,stay safe

Jeez man, that pack is nearly half your size! You wait till you're my age!! My winter pack weighs less than 10 kg with a night's food in and a little water... My days of fry-ups and steaks have gone )-;)~ But I still get out - 2 nights in the heart of the Torridons last w/e, freezing overnights, 20+ C daytimes, sunburnt, excellent. Fab (you can tell which generation I'm from ha ha). I didn't realise you had had chemo - hats off to you sir. The hand/fingers thing in sub-zero temps - likewise. I have an M.E./Chronic fatigue/auto-immune b---eration which has screwed my circulation and temperature regulation generally, with attendant fish finger, er, fingers, and the inevitable 'hot aches' to howl over as the blood returns. I commiserate with your plight. But it is amazing how we can adapt, once we have accepted that these changes happen, can be accommodated, if we really want. And you clearly DO want! I am only 64, with the structure of an 80 year old, from a lifetime of pounding the hills and carrying a big-ish pack, arthritis and muscle mass loss, artificial knee and multiple ops for all sorts of joint issues. But fercuck, it does your heart such good to get out there! So thank you, for being once such person, and for being such a genuine article, and making your excellent vids, which don't focus on any one thing, not much anyway. You clearly love a bit of silliness, and I salute you for not getting all technical on our a--ses (-;)~ BTW - Hazy? You have probably said why that name somewhere else, but... Keep up the chat, that is what we all love, keep blethering!
