Nice exploration including beyond the food to the upper level architecturally. What a great readaptation of building use.
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you Frank 🙂
Thank you for your wonderful tour and historical info to accompany. Born and raised in Toronto and I never knew of a second food market. I love history and architecture this was great!
Much appreciated @canar7 🙂 Toronto has many hidden and untold stories.
After 8 years in planning a strong structured repurposed location for food and apartments, thanks Sally for the historic commentry of the strong determination behind it and for being there on opening day to show us, love the Art Orbs and individual style chairs with added outside placements to sit and enjoy the meals, a must visit when I can, overall lovely interior views, if living there one can go from your apartment to downstairs daily for many food choices or visit there as you show with parking available, really magnificent.
Condo dwellers at this location have so much to choose from now. Thank u Patrick 🙂
Thank you for sharing. I wish this Food Hall much success,
I think this Food Hall will do well, great location, awesome food and beautiful building. Thank you for watching @bnice8940 🙂
This is really amazing. The amount of information you have on this is incredible. This building is so historic.
Sure is Dave
@@onceuponacity the amount of detail you put into this is incredible.
I like it !! I see why you like the spheres they are colourful and unique. It has a nice atmosphere here with the nice lighting and plenty of places to sit and enjoy a dink and meal and great cozy seating options too. Thanks for the nice tour! 👍😊🇨🇦
Did you get anything to eat?
Thank you! Cheers!
Gorgeous design. Although detailed, its not overwhelming. Thanks for sharing this new gem ❤
Thank u Ginny 🙂
💙💯👍... OMG!! That place is amazing, and you would never imagine, by looking at the exterior of the building, the absolute beauty of the interior.
(The depth of the research put into your video subjects is greatly appreciated. 👍💯💯💯)
Glad you enjoyed it Kitty and thank u 🤗
This sounds more like a food court rather than a food hall. Thanks for the lovely video.
Thank you Jimmi for checking it out 🙂
Thanks for this tour of the new Waterworks Food Hall. I liked high windows and the domed atrium with the spheres and lights. I wonder what the food is like there? 😊
Nice Architecture.
Beautiful! Thank you Ramprat hope ur doing well 🙂
@@onceuponacity Doing well preparing for the Hurricane.
Now i will go to this food market.
You will enjoy it 🥰
The Waterworks Food Hall looks good and l can see the European influence with the floor to ceiling windows and brickwork.Much smaller but has a look of the Turbine Hall, Tate Modern Art Gallery which is an adaption and regeneration of the Battersea Power Station, London, UK.Nice video
It does resemble Turbine Hall which is an incredible hall. Appreciate your thoughts and thank you.
good on ya getting there early.
I wonder if they are frustrated the The Well finished their new food hall before them?
more thoughts! I love the re- purposed brick and wooden beams! I love that the history of the building is incorporated into the newly designed space. The spheres and old timey lighting is amazing.
My restaurant background first take is: tough place to staff. Lots of different businesses with domains not really obvious. I see servers with empty trays wandering through their sections ( which are not easily apparent) looking for something to do. I see one person sitting on a large couch for five. That’s a money losing situation.
My opinion is to lose the table service and have all seating open to everyone. Make the seats at the bars exclusive to the bars and not allow people who order food from non bar areas to sit at the bar…
Anyway, Once Upon a City good on ya for another quality capture
Your experience in the restaurant industry would give a different perspective indeed (keen eye you have Boom). Thank you for your thoughts.
Really good job.
I only wish the frame rate were higher. Whenever you pan around, everything is really blurry.
Ugh...thank you for sharing. I try my best to stabilize the image. I know how frustrating it can be to watch unstable/ somewhat blurry images. Much appreciate your comment Dixon.
@@onceuponacity I know sometimes you were panning quickly to avoid making customers/diners uncomfortable with being recorded, which is considerate and nice. Thanks for your reply.
Thank you, it is all a learning curve and I appreciate the honest feedback.
(Ugh for me is more I screwed up...I want to present quality content as best I can).
Thank you for watching Dixon 🙂
@@onceuponacity I'll be back 😄
Dang, Sally ... I'm salivating over the Waterworks Food Hall and the condominium's dark&sexy architecture. The atrium is 👌🏼, views to the outside are winning and the art-glass-look spheres are out-of-this-world! Placement of potted flowers among the outdoor seating is an exquisite touch. Thanks so much for this cool tour!🤗
Beautiful content...I would love to do a RUclips collaboration with you
Toronto has way too many food options to choose from lol. I can't decide. haha.
So true!
