Goodmorning sir ,i really love ur teaching u make everything easy but i have a request as someone who struggle to hear ur too down if possible, please voice out a bit

I wanted to know,if on the total magnetic declination step,am I suppose to add even when the direction is not the same or I'm subtracting if direction aren't the same?
If your Mean magnetic declination was 12’ and the Mean annual change is 10’ do you start off subtracting minutes instead of adding them when calculating the total magnetic declination because it would be decreasing instead of increasing?
You’re wrong with confidence 😂 I don’t think your teacher taught you that. It’s either you misunderstood them or you created your own calculations. Follow my videos to learn the right calculations okay 🙂
Hello can you help me if the question paper say :different in years 3 years Mean annual change 10 west Total change Magnetic declination for 2023 So I have to calculate the same you say or?
I am not sure if I understand your question. However, if you are given difference in years, you do not need to consider the 2023. Please maybe rephrase your question so I understand.
@@EverythingGeography7 my question say I must calculate the magnetic declination of odendaalsrus for 2023 then formula say different in years 3 so I'm asking that's when I do calculations I'm must do the same

so if the total magnetic declination is

=14° 35' west
and 35' w is the final answer, you don't need to divide anything right? meaning 14° 35' w is the correct answer
Absolutely 💯 so long as your ‘ is 60’ (minutes) and below🙂
Are were going to add 180 after finding the 94 on your right hand

Goodmorning sir ,i really love ur teaching u make everything easy but i have a request as someone who struggle to hear ur too down if possible, please voice out a bit
In my recent and future ones videos I ensure to my voice is clear and audible 🙂
Do you have to have so many steps in your final answer or you can shoot straight to the final answer
I am teaching for clarity. You can choose not to. However, it is advisable to show all calculations 🙂
Tnx bra i understand now.😁
Pleasure 😉
So if you have given different direction you don't add you subtract ?
Yes you will have to subtract. I will do a video on this later on🙂
@EverythingGeography7 thank you so much will appreciate that
So map work which paper is it ?
@KelebogileFlorence-ll6ps
In grade 12 now both paper 1 & 2 consists of mapwork. But in lower grades you can expect it on paper 2.
Hello so what if the direction s are not the same?
You can learn from this video Geography Mapwork: How to calculate magnetic declination with different directions (E - W)
ruclips.net/video/ZVjBTv3TzvA/видео.html
Wht symbol do u use if they are not in the same pole like if its 23°10'E and 12'W?
I did a video on it check it in my videos. Or watch it here: Geography Mapwork: How to calculate magnetic declination with different directions (E - W)
ruclips.net/video/ZVjBTv3TzvA/видео.html
So if they were different direction would be a subtraction
Absolutely! 🙂
Can you show a video on how this translates on to a map.
Not sure if I understand your plea. However, everything calculated here is from the map. The information is obtainable from every map you use🙂
How do you calculate if theres different directions
This question has been asked more than once I think I will have to do a video on it.
However, you will have to subtract.
@@EverythingGeography7 Thank you sir that will really help
😉
What do we do if mean magnetic declination is west and annual change is east
Good question! 🙂though it’s rarely asked. But you must subtract the annual change from the magnetic declination.
Which direction should i take when i have different direction?
Normally is the mean magnetic declination one buy you have to subtract
Danko written today 🎉

Sir where can i get a mapwork booklet
You can get it at book stores such as @Vanschaik
@@EverythingGeography7 thanks
So what if the directions are different how do I calculate it

What happens if they don't give us the information?
Your information will always be on your map🙂
What happens if the minutes becomes negative
You mean if directions are different?
Because if you have negative it means there’s something wrong you did.
I wanted to know,if on the total magnetic declination step,am I suppose to add even when the direction is not the same or I'm subtracting if direction aren't the same?
If the directions are different you have to subtract. I am still looking for a perfect example to make a video example of this 🙂
2h before my exam💀
😂 all the best
Understand thx😅❤
You’re welcome :)
You the best boy🎉
Thank you 😅
If your Mean magnetic declination was 12’ and the Mean annual change is 10’ do you start off subtracting minutes instead of adding them when calculating the total magnetic declination because it would be decreasing instead of increasing?
No subtraction if directions are the same
I have a test tomorrow😊, this actually helped me
🙂😉 share with friends and family or classmates
i always struggled on finding the final answear , Writing my final tdy ,and this will really help me tnx bro😁❤
You’re welcome 🙂
Now go get that distinction 💪🏾
So if the minute get you to less than 10 on magnetic declination is it correct??
Not sure if I understand your question, you mean degrees or minutes?
Bra when MD /AC is west we subtract it whereas if it east we add since it’s facing true north
You’re wrong with confidence 😂 I don’t think your teacher taught you that. It’s either you misunderstood them or you created your own calculations. Follow my videos to learn the right calculations okay 🙂
Hello can you help me if the question paper say :different in years 3 years

Magnetic declination for 2023

@@EverythingGeography7 my question say I must calculate the magnetic declination of odendaalsrus for 2023 then formula say different in years 3 so I'm asking that's when I do calculations I'm must do the same
Oh! I understand now. Yes follow the steps and use the map date to subtract from 2023🙂
@@EverythingGeography7 thanks a lot for helping 🙏
@sphosethudeki9298 pleasure🙂
If the directions are different?
Good question! 🙂though it’s rarely asked. But you must subtract the annual change from the magnetic declination.

262'÷60' +23° can it work that way?

You forgot west of true north at the end otherwise in the exams the answer would be wrong. They won't mark it
There’s direction included you will receive full marks 🙂
I once calcuted this and it gave me above 60 so I asked my sir if I'm correct then he said yes
It’s important to keep it at or below 60’ because of the rules. In the exam, the examiner may not award you full marks if you leave it like that🙂
